MFC-7360NIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

A compatible wired office needing black printing, color Legal feeder capture, ordinary copying and separate telephone fax.

The main tradeoff

Automatic print duplex is expressly unavailable. The glass is shorter than Legal, and neighboring wireless or protected-release functions are not borrowed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can Ethernet support all functions, color Legal feeder capture and 250-sheet mono input at 24 Letter ppm?

Qualifies with compatible native software and separate suitable telephone setup for fax. The feeder handles simplex Legal originals; automatic print duplex is not included.

Will it print both sides automatically like the DN variants?

Fails: the exact software expressly excludes MFC-7360N from automatic duplex. Manual refeeding is a different routine.

Can I require Legal on both the glass and feeder?

Fails: the feeder accepts Legal, but the separate glass is only 11.7 inches long. Both essential routes must fit the selected size.

Wired document work without automatic output duplex

The Brother MFC-7360N is an earlier monochrome laser all-in-one with color computer scanning, copying and telephone fax. It fits a compatible wired office needing black output and loose Legal capture through USB or Ethernet. Its deciding limitation is explicit: the exact software guide says automatic print duplex is not available on MFC-7360N. A manual two-sided routine does not remove that restriction.

The suffix must remain exact. Its shared guide includes MFC-7365DN, MFC-7460DN and MFC-7860DW, with different duplex, speed, protected-print and wireless branches. Those neighboring features are excluded here. The original USA/Canada identity and electrical section establish the local edition; an inherited non-US workload lead is not silently used as a US recommendation.

Color capture through the actual document routes

The thirty-five-page feeder declaration uses staggered loading on a 20 lb paper basis. It accepts suitable simplex originals up to fourteen inches long. The separate glass reaches 8.5 by 11.7 inches, supporting Letter/A4 originals and appropriate bound material but shorter than Legal. A requirement for both Legal feeder and Legal glass therefore fails on the glass.

Color scanning is positively documented even though printing and copying are monochrome. The original distinguishes optical glass and feeder resolutions from the much larger interpolated number. No automatic two-sided original-capture route is established in the read exact operations, and neither a software name nor a neighboring model's feature supplies one.

Local and wired-network computer scanning

The included host connections are Hi-Speed USB and 10/100 Ethernet. The actual TWAIN workflow selects the local scanner or its LAN entry, then sets scan type, document size and other controls before capture. The original desktop compatibility table supports printing and scanning through those applicable interfaces. Its Server rows are network-print-only, not a promise of desktop scanner support everywhere.

Native Secure Print sections name other family members and do not establish that routine here. AirPrint, Mopria and Wi-Fi Direct also remain unestablished in the exact readings. The wireless interface belongs to MFC-7860DW, while this N model uses wired networking. Fax follows its separate documented telephone arrangement; the Ethernet socket does not itself provide an analog telephone line.

Paper, refeeding and the Letter declaration

The cassette holds 250 sheets on the stated 20 lb plain-paper basis, with a separate single-sheet manual path for suitable envelopes and other instructed stock. Ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 input is supported. For two-sided output, the driver prints even pages, asks the operator to straighten and reload the sheets, then prints odd pages. That intervention is why an automatic-duplex requirement fails.

The exact MFC-7360N rate is up to twenty-four one-sided Letter pages per minute, rather than the twenty-seven assigned to faster neighboring variants. Ready-state first-print time is a separate measurement. These are maker declarations, not personal timing results. No exact US numerical recommended monthly volume is established in the read sources.

Supplies and the installed arrangement

The starter toner declaration is approximately 700 Letter pages. Replacement TN-420 is approximately 1,200 and TN-450 approximately 2,600 under ISO/IEC 19752. The separate DR-420 drum declaration is approximately 12,000 Letter pages under its usage conditions. Those figures do not establish current running cost or remaining life in a particular earlier unit.

The original body diagram gives 15.95 inches wide, 15.7 deep and 12.45 high. Exact loaded weight is 25.1 lb, distinct from the heavier neighboring variants, and the USA/Canada original specifies 110–120 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Leave feeder, lid, paper-path, cable and service access. Verify usable native software and telephone setup. If automatic duplex or a radio is essential, choose an exact model documenting that included function.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

Up to 24 one-sided Letter ppm, distinct from 27 ppm MFC-7460DN/MFC-7860DW. No automatic-duplex speed is assigned to this model. Exact US numerical recommended monthly volume and maximum duty remain unestablished; inherited non-US volume leads are not silently transferred.

Paper handling

250-sheet cassette on stated 20 lb / 80 g/m² plain-paper basis plus one-sheet manual slot. Ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 accepted. The exact software states automatic duplex is not available for MFC-7360N; two-sided output requires even-page printing, operator refeeding and odd-page printing. Suitable envelopes use the separately instructed manual path.

Scanning arrangement

Color and monochrome computer capture through a 35-page staggered simplex feeder at stated 20 lb / 80 g/m² basis, with original range up to 8.5 × 14 in. Glass maximum 8.5 × 11.7 in. supports Letter/A4, not Legal. Automatic input duplex and single-pass capture are unestablished. Optical glass and feeder figures are separate from interpolated resolution.

Computer and mobile connections

Included Hi-Speed USB and 10/100 Ethernet; 32 MB. No included Wi-Fi in exact model branch; family wireless interface belongs to MFC-7860DW. Do not borrow that model’s PCL6/BR-Script or protected print controls. Native Secure Print, AirPrint, Mopria and Wi-Fi Direct remain unestablished for this exact reading.

Supplies and declared yields

Approximately 700-page Letter starter toner, TN-420 approximately 1,200 and TN-450 approximately 2,600 under ISO/IEC 19752. Separate DR-420 drum approximately 12,000 Letter pages with stated usage qualifications. No current cost or remaining-life estimate.

Electrical edition and setup

Original shared body diagram 15.95 W × 15.7 D × 12.45 H in.; exact MFC-7360N loaded weight 25.1 lb, distinct from neighboring 25.6 lb variants. USA/Canada original 110–120 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Leave feeder, glass-lid, cassette, manual-feed, rear-path, cable and service access. Verify native software and the separate telephone arrangement on the actual earlier unit.
