MFC-L3750CDWIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

Shared desktop color printing and loose Legal capture through the feeder.

The main tradeoff

Automatic input duplex, NFC and the larger multipurpose tray belong to MFC-L3770CDW.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can it scan loose Legal originals in color and print Legal duplex over Ethernet with 250 sheets loaded?

Yes, using compatible native desktop software. Legal capture uses the simplex feeder, while the automatic unit handles printed output.

Will it scan both faces of the stack automatically?

No. The actual automatic two-sided capture chapter is restricted to MFC-L3770CDW.

Shared color output with a single-sided document feeder

The Brother MFC-L3750CDW is an earlier color LED all-in-one for an office that wants printing, copying, scanning and conventional fax with wired or wireless sharing. Its useful combination is automatic two-sided printed output, a fifty-page document feeder and included Ethernet. The deciding tradeoff is scanning automation: the feeder captures one face at a time, and the glass is too short for a full Legal original. The larger MFC-L3770CDW’s automatic input duplex should not be assigned to this model.

Brother’s 2024–2025 replacement chart places the exact MFC-L3750CDW in its discontinued column. It remains a useful operating reference, with actual driver support, condition and supply life to check for an individual unit. The engine uses LED exposure with toner, rather than a laser-beam light source; that distinction does not alter the documented paper or capture limits.

Legal originals require the feeder

The automatic document feeder accepts loose pages through fourteen inches long and holds up to fifty sheets under the stated paper and environmental conditions. The glass reaches 11.8 inches, supporting Letter and A4. A loose Legal form can therefore use the feeder, while a long bound or fragile original cannot be treated as a full-size flatbed job.

Both color and monochrome computer capture are documented. The original ControlCenter instructions describe choosing a destination, file settings and color mode. The automatic two-sided capture chapter, however, explicitly applies only to MFC-L3770CDW. A fifty-page feeder does not by itself establish automatic scanning of both faces. Plan manual turning for double-sided originals, or compare a model whose actual feeder includes that function.

Included Ethernet makes a real difference within the family

The MFC-L3750CDW includes Hi-Speed USB, Fast Ethernet, ordinary Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. The lower MFC-L3710CW lacks the included wired-network connection. Conversely, the NFC reader in the same guide belongs to MFC-L3770CDW. Those differences affect where the machine can be installed and how users connect, even when the cases and model numbers look similar.

The original computer table establishes desktop printing and capture over the appropriate connections, with network printing only on its server-system rows. AirPrint and Mopria have separate documented mobile-printing routines. The native Windows Secure Print function sets a separate four-digit password per document and releases the selected job at the panel. Held data clears after printing or power-off. That native confidentiality workflow is kept separate from the mobile protocols.

A normal cassette plus a single-sheet special feed

The standard cassette holds 250 sheets of the specified plain stock. Suitable envelopes and other permitted media use a separate single-sheet manual feed. The thirty-sheet multipurpose tray described elsewhere in the manual belongs to MFC-L3770CDW, so it must not be added to the MFC-L3750CDW’s included capacity.

Ordinary input includes Letter, Legal and A4. The US automatic output-duplex list is narrower: Letter, Legal, Folio and the stated regional Legal variants. A4 input does not establish A4 automatic duplex in this edition. One-sided Letter output is declared up to twenty-five pages per minute in black or color, compared with twenty-four for A4. Print duplex is separately eight printed sides, or four sheets, per minute. These numbers are source declarations, not results from a hands-on test.

Check all four supplies and the loaded cabinet

The exact supplied-toner declaration is approximately 1,000 pages for black and each color under ISO/IEC 19798. TN-223 replacements are approximately 1,400 black pages and 1,300 for each color; TN-227 increases those declarations to approximately 3,000 black and 2,300 each color. Cartridge replacement is separate from drum, belt and waste-box maintenance.

The DR-223CL drum set is declared for approximately 18,000 pages at one page per job. The BU-223CL belt uses an approximate 50,000-page declaration at two pages per job, while the waste box has its own approximate 50,000-page declaration. Those different conditions should remain visible when assessing remaining service needs.

The cabinet measures approximately 16.1 inches wide, 18.7 deep and 16.3 high, weighing 51.5 pounds with supplies. Allow additional document, cable and maintenance room. The US edition uses 110–120 V AC. A genuinely duplex-scanning model is the sensible comparison for frequent two-sided originals; a supported newer model is relevant when driver or authentication compatibility is uncertain.
