Color imageCLASS LBP7110CwIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

Supported native one-sided color output over USB, Fast Ethernet or a prepared infrastructure Wi-Fi network.

The main tradeoff

No automatic duplex or scanner. Wired and wireless LAN cannot operate simultaneously.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can LBP7110Cw print color Legal documents over a supported infrastructure Wi-Fi connection?

Yes. The exact native setup documents LBP7110-only wireless LAN and Legal output. Use the supported driver, match paper size/type and disconnect Ethernet while wireless LAN is active.

Will it automatically duplex Letter pages?

No. The exact U.S. specification explicitly lists no duplex printing. Manual reloading is not automatic duplex.

Can it scan originals to the same wireless computer?

No. This is a print-only device without glass or ADF. Wireless networking does not add original capture.

A color output device with one paper drawer

The Canon Color imageCLASS LBP7110Cw is a print-only color laser. It has a single 150-sheet drawer and supports USB, Fast Ethernet and infrastructure Wi-Fi. Its exact U.S. specification explicitly says automatic duplex printing is unavailable.

This configuration fits a supported computer queue producing one-sided color documents when scanning and automatic two-sided output are handled elsewhere. A network interface does not add a glass scanner, document feeder or fax function.

Choose one LAN method before installing the queue

The actual manual says wired and wireless LAN cannot be used simultaneously. While using wireless LAN, leave the Ethernet cable disconnected. The printer’s wireless mode joins an infrastructure network; it is not a verified Wi-Fi Direct connection.

For USB, turn the printer and computer off before connecting the cable, and follow the native driver installation sequence. Wired setup includes checking the network link indicator. Wireless settings use MF/LBP Network Setup Tool, with the supplied USB cable available for the documented configuration process.

The default LAN method is wired. Canon’s switching procedure calls for uninstalling the existing driver, then using Easy Installation to configure the intended network method and install the driver again. Merely unplugging one cable does not establish that the existing computer port now points to the correct connection.

The printer communicates bidirectionally. Canon does not guarantee operation through unidirectional print servers, USB hubs or switching devices. Verify the actual arrangement rather than assuming that any adapter producing a USB socket will preserve the required communication.

Page size and output size can change the document

In the application, select this printer and open Properties. The Page Setup sheet separates Page Size, describing the document, from Output Size, describing the loaded sheet. Different selections automatically enlarge or reduce the image.

That distinction matters for a form whose scale must remain unchanged. Check the final settings instead of interpreting a successful print as proof that the original dimensions were preserved. Then use the Paper Source sheet to select the actual media category.

If Apply Device Settings is chosen, the driver uses the registered paper-source type. Canon notes that an unrestricted Free registration is treated as Plain 1 in that arrangement. An incorrectly registered stock can therefore produce a plausible-looking dialog while using the wrong paper treatment.

The media table contains useful restrictions

Letter, Legal and A4 are confirmed output sizes. The paper table distinguishes light plain stock, two heavier categories, labels, envelopes and four coated-paper ranges. The generic drawer quantity is not treated as a verified stack quantity for every exact size and type.

Transparencies are explicitly black-and-white only. A color engine and a transparency listing do not combine into verified color transparency printing. Coated paper from one hundred to 220 gsm requires the appropriate Coated setting rather than the plain-paper default.

Envelope C5 uses Envelope H, while the other listed envelope types have their own selectable treatment. Follow those settings and the actual loading rules. None of these media categories creates an automatic duplex path.

Keep speed, supplies and maintenance on the stated basis

Canon rates continuous one-sided plain Letter output at fourteen pages per minute in black and color; the actual guide also names the Letter/A4 basis. Paper dimensions, media, orientation and resolution can reduce processing speed. The thirty-thousand-page maximum monthly duty is separate from an unestablished recommended workload.

Replacement 131 ratings are 1,400 black pages, 2,400 for high-capacity black and 1,500 composite color pages under ISO/IEC 19798 on Letter or A4 at default density. An included-cartridge yield is not established here. The Printer Status Window reports replacement and consumable status information.

Allow for the complete machine and its access space

The U.S. support table lists a sixteen by 17.9 by ten-inch body and 41.9 pounds with cartridges, distinguishing it from the lighter empty figure. The operating guide requires 120–127 volts at sixty hertz and more than a hundred millimeters of clearance on the right.

The machine uses LEDs and physical controls rather than a touchscreen job workflow. Confirm the exact supported native driver and intended network method on the target computer before relying on an earlier unit for recurring color output.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

14 one-sided plain Letter pages per minute in black or color. The actual manual also specifies Letter/A4 continuous conditions. Media, orientation and resolution can reduce speed. A 30,000-page maximum duty is not a recommended volume.

Paper handling

One 150-sheet generic drawer supports eligible Letter/Legal/A4 stock and listed envelopes. Transparencies are black-and-white only. Coated 100–220 gsm stock has four separate media categories. No automatic duplex or additional input tray.

Computer and mobile connections

USB, Fast Ethernet and LBP7110-only infrastructure Wi-Fi are documented; wired and wireless LAN are mutually exclusive. No Wi-Fi Direct, AirPrint, Mopria or PIN-held job workflow is inferred.

Supplies and declared yields

Replacement 131 Black: 1,400 pages; 131 H Black: 2,400; composite C/M/Y: 1,500 under ISO/IEC 19798 using Letter/A4 and default density. Supplied yield is unknown. Printer Status Window provides supply/status information.

Software and support

Use the exact native operating procedure for connection and paper selection. U.S. support calls the language UFR II LT; the manual calls its software UFR II. No PCL/PostScript is inferred. Verify the exact supported driver.

Electrical edition and setup

Body: 16 × 17.9 × 10 inches; 41.9 lb with cartridges, versus 36.6 lb without. U.S. power: 120–127 V, 60 Hz. Allow more than 100 mm on the right plus access space. LED controls are distinct from an LCD touchscreen.
