B2375dnf (US 110–127V configuration)Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

A compatible wired office combining black-and-white output, batch document capture, copying and analog fax.

The main tradeoff

The dnf has no included Wi-Fi; Legal originals use the feeder, and single-pass scanning is not established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can configured Ethernet support color Legal feeder capture with automatic two-sided scanning and ordinary Legal print duplex?

Yes. The guide documents network computer capture, Legal DADF originals and automatic scan duplex, plus Legal automatic print duplex. The scan mechanism is not claimed to be single-pass.

Can a Legal original use the flatbed when flatbed capture is essential?

The read guide documents Legal in the DADF, while the platen list does not include Legal. The model does not qualify for that exact flatbed requirement.

Does the B2375dnf include the wireless LAN shown elsewhere in the shared guide?

No. Dell marks that wireless hardware and setup as B2375dfw only. The dnf operating plans use USB or Ethernet.

A wired document office with real scanning hardware

The Dell B2375dnf is an earlier monochrome laser multifunction printer for an office that needs to print, capture documents, copy and send analog faxes. Its useful combination is included wired networking, automatic print duplex and a document feeder that can scan both sides. It prints in black and white even though its scanner can capture color.

The deciding distinction is dnf versus dfw. Dell's shared guide reserves wireless LAN and the Wi-Fi/WPS button for the B2375dfw. The B2375dnf assessed here is the wired USB and Gigabit Ethernet model. A shared manual does not add its sibling's wireless hardware.

Choose the scanning route for the original

The document feeder accepts up to 50 appropriate ordinary sheets. It is useful for batches that would otherwise require repeatedly placing individual pages on the glass. The original-loading instructions exclude unsuitable originals such as damaged sheets, booklets and documents with staples or wet correction fluid.

The flatbed is the separate route for a single suitable original. The guide lists Letter and A4 among its platen sizes. Legal is documented for the feeder, rather than the flatbed. An office processing Legal contracts should make that distinction before expecting every original to fit on the glass.

Automatic two-sided scanning is established by the DADF instructions and scan duplex settings. The sections read do not resolve whether both sides are captured in one pass or through a reversing process. This assessment therefore supports ordinary automatic duplex capture without advertising a single-pass mechanism.

Computer scanning needs its own working setup

Dell documents both local and network computer capture. A USB-connected Windows computer has an instructed WIA scanning route, with compatible software required. The network-PC routine uses the configured scanning software and the registered computer identity. Shared-folder capture also requires a real destination, permissions and the correct connection settings.

Test a representative scan into the application or folder that staff will actually use. A successful network print does not by itself prove that the scanning destination is configured. Standalone copying is a different operation, and analog fax depends on the telephone-line arrangement.

Keep print duplex within the approved media

The included automatic print routine explicitly supports ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 paper. Select the appropriate binding edge and paper settings in the compatible driver. Envelopes, labels, transparencies and unsuitable thick material must not be treated as ordinary duplex stock.

Tray 1 holds 250 ordinary sheets; the multipurpose feeder adds 50 positions. The latter provides a separate route for instructed envelopes and alternate media. For Legal paper, the drawer must be extended as described. Optional extra paper hardware is not counted as part of this base configuration.

Mobile printing and confidential jobs are separate questions

The guide documents AirPrint through an ordinary configured network, using Bonjour and IPP. A phone can share the router network with a wired printer. That does not turn the printer into a Wi-Fi Direct device or establish mobile access to its desktop scanning functions.

The desktop driver also describes password-held Confidential jobs in printer storage. Before relying on that feature, establish the actual storage configuration and working driver controls. A mobile protocol entry or an administrator login is insufficient evidence for the same confidential collection workflow.

Check an earlier machine as a complete working system

The guide identifies standard and high-capacity replacement toner separately. Inspect the installed cartridge, paper feeds, feeder and maintenance condition instead of assuming that an earlier unit arrives with new supplies.

Confirm the low-voltage regional rating and leave room for loading and rear access. The B2375dnf is most persuasive when its wired printing, document capture and fax arrangements have all been verified with the intended computers and originals.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

No independently verified Letter one-sided print rate or recommended monthly interval is assigned from the read exact-model operating guide. A related model column or the Germany-only Blue Angel A4 figure is not used as a US Letter specification.

Paper handling

Included tray 1 holds 250 ordinary 80 gsm sheets and the MPF holds 50, totaling 300. Exact-size capacity matching conservatively counts the 250-sheet drawer, expressly described with Letter/A4 and extended Legal loading. Letter, Legal and A4 automatic duplex are explicitly supported in the operating chapter. Envelopes use the MPF and the instructed face-up output path; do not duplex them. Optional tray 2 is excluded.

Scanning arrangement

The 50-sheet DADF and flatbed both support color document capture. The guide lists Letter/A4 for the platen and Letter/Legal/A4 for the DADF, with automatic duplex settings for originals. Automatic duplex scanning is confirmed; the read source does not establish a single-pass or reversing mechanism, so the operating plans use duplex method unspecified. USB and network computer-scanning procedures are separately documented.

Computer and mobile connections

The B2375dnf has USB and 10/100/1000 Ethernet. The shared guide explicitly limits wireless LAN and the Wi-Fi/WPS control to B2375dfw; those features are not assigned to dnf. Network-PC scanning requires the configured Dell scanning software/account or suitable shared-folder setup. Analog fax needs its telephone-line arrangement, rather than being an Ethernet service.

Supplies and declared yields

The original guide lists NWYPG standard toner at 3,000 pages and C7D6F high-capacity toner at 10,000 pages under ISO/IEC 19752. These are replacement declarations, not proof of the cartridge supplied with a particular earlier machine. Feed rollers and fuser are separate maintenance considerations.

Software and support

Compatible desktop driver and scan software are required. The print driver documents Confidential password-held jobs in printer storage, but the exact installed storage prerequisites are not established here, so included PIN release remains unknown. AirPrint is a separate configured Bonjour/IPP network printing route; no desktop scanning or driver-only password feature is borrowed into that route. Historical cloud service names are not treated as current service promises.

Electrical edition and setup

Assessment is scoped to the documented AC110–127 V regional unit; check its rating label. The general specification gives 462 mm depth and 420 mm height, about18.19 and 16.54 inches. Its width and weight parenthetical units conflict with the metric values, so those numerical fit fields remain unknown. Allow loading, rear-output and service clearance beyond body dimensions.
