Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can ordinary Wi-Fi combine color Letter printing at a declared 12 ppm with 700 monthly pages?
Yes. The exact one-sided color Letter rate, Wi-Fi and recommended 750-page monthly maximum are documented; this is a maker declaration.
Explore this need in the finder →Do Mac/Windows manual duplex options satisfy automatic two-sided printing?
No. Those routines require paper reloading.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the color printer also scan originals?
No. It is a dedicated LED printer without scanner hardware.

The Dell C1760nw is an earlier color LED printer with USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi included. Its small body and separate ten-sheet bypass path can be useful for a modest home-office or shared-computer routine. It is a dedicated printer, without scanning, copying or fax hardware.
The exact model matters when comparing older compact Dells. Its 250–750-page recommended monthly range, manual Mac-and-Windows duplex statement and bypass-media rule come from the C1760nw's own specification, rather than being borrowed from the similarly sized 1250c or 1350cnw.
Manual duplex can work on the listed computer drivers
The original document identifies manual two-sided printing for Mac and Windows drivers. A user reloads the paper for the reverse sides. This can fit occasional two-sided output when intervention is acceptable, but it does not satisfy an automatic-duplex requirement.
The declared one-sided rate is up to 15 pages per minute in monochrome and 12 in color on Letter or A4. Those are manufacturer figures, not our test results, full application-job timings or duplex rates. Current compatible drivers are still required even where an older operating-system list names the original computer platforms.
The bypass holds ten ordinary sheets, or one special piece
The standard arrangement combines a 150-sheet drawer with a ten-sheet bypass, giving 160 ordinary sheets. Both paths list Letter, Legal and A4. The manufacturer lists no additional input-capacity option, so a higher-volume offer should not assume that an expansion drawer can be fitted.
For the bypass, the original instruction explicitly distinguishes ten sheets of plain paper from one piece of special media. That distinction matters for envelopes, labels and heavier stock. Match the supported type, size, loading direction and driver setting instead of using ordinary-paper capacity as a special-media promise.
Included Wi-Fi and named mobile apps answer different questions
USB provides a direct computer route, while Ethernet or ordinary Wi-Fi can connect the printer to an appropriately configured network. The WPS setup option needs a compatible WPS router; its presence does not mean every network has the same setup method.
The brochure names Dell mobile applications for Android and iOS, with same-network conditions and a historical iOS availability announcement. It does not establish native AirPrint, Mopria or Wi-Fi Direct. Check current application availability and exact device compatibility rather than treating a generic mobile-print label as all of those protocols.
Use the monthly recommendation rather than the maximum duty
The recommended monthly print range is 250–750 pages. The separate 30,000-page maximum duty cycle describes a different upper-limit measure and should not qualify the printer for regular 5,000-page months. Its 160-sheet paper arrangement also points toward a modest document routine.
The C1760nw uses host-based GDI printing with 128MB of nonexpandable memory. A compatible application and driver are part of the choice. A software-management utility does not add a scanner, expand paper capacity or establish a different print language.
Check the body, power edition and current consumables
The documented printer body is 15.5×11.8×8.9 inches and 23.4lb with consumables. Those are different from the shipping-carton figures. Leave room for paper loading, the bypass path, cables, ventilation and servicing, and check the actual label for the 120V edition accepting 100–127V.
The starter and ordinary replacement declarations are 700 pages for black and each color, with higher-capacity toner declared at 2,000 black and 1,400 color pages. Those yields do not establish remaining toner, present stock or current cost per page. Choose the C1760nw when its verified network color printing and manual handling fit; choose an automatic-duplex or multifunction model when those additional jobs are essential.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Declared one-sided Letter/A4 rates are 15 ppm monochrome and 12 ppm color. Job time varies with the system, application and document. Manual duplex is not an automatic engine rate.
Paper handling
The 150-sheet drawer plus ten-sheet bypass provides 160 ordinary sheets. Special media use the bypass one piece at a time. Mac/Windows manual duplex requires reloading.
Scanning arrangement
Print-only color LED model without scanner, original feeder, copy or fax hardware.
Computer and mobile connections
Computer USB 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet and ordinary Wi-Fi are included. WPS requires a compatible router. Named Dell Android/iOS apps do not establish native AirPrint, Mopria or Wi-Fi Direct.
Supplies and declared yields
Starter/standard and high-capacity toner yields have separate ISO/IEC 19798 declarations. Printer-life drum/fuser language is not a guarantee of remaining life or present cost per page.
Software and support
The host-based GDI printer has 128 MB nonexpandable memory. Manual duplex is listed for Mac/Windows; poster and watermark controls are Windows-only. Verify current drivers and app availability.
Electrical edition and setup
The 120 V AC model accepts 100–127 V AC. Body: 15.5 × 11.8 × 8.9 inches, 23.4 lb with consumables. Shipping weight is separate; allow bypass, paper, cable and service access.
