Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can a USB computer print color A3 with 850 included sheets and PIN at 13,000 monthly pages?
Qualifies with earlier references enabled, a compatible HP driver and all three inputs containing ordinary A3 stock. This n uses manual second-side reloading when two sides are wanted.
Explore this need in the finder →Will the standard n automatically print both sides of an 11×17 document without a reload?
Fails automatic duplex. Exact n specifications and the original model comparison identify manual duplex; use the actual printed-side-up reload procedure or an actual dn configuration.
Explore this need in the finder →Does four-color printing also provide scanning and copying through the computer connection?
Fails those required document jobs. The M750n is print-only; neither its color engine nor display establishes a scanner or copier.

The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M750n fits a commercial computer queue needing color A3 or 11×17-inch documents and a substantial ordinary-paper reserve. It includes Ethernet, rear computer USB and 850 standard sheets. The n configuration's decisive limitation is manual duplex: automatic two-sided promotional wording elsewhere on the family page does not override its exact technical field.
HP identifies D3L08A#BGJ and explicitly marks it discontinued. This earlier-model review concerns the documented US commercial Class A, 110–127-V edition at 50/60 Hz. Check the actual plate, condition, accessories and compatible host driver. A separate high-voltage unit is not dual voltage or an interchangeable electrical edition.
Use the 850-sheet reserve for the actual loaded size
The standard front 100, Tray 2's 250 and Tray 3's 500 total 850 ordinary sheets. The original counts use 20-lb/75-g/m² stock. Actual tables positively include Letter, Legal, A4, A3 and 11×17 in all three inputs. Full capacity for one size assumes all three contain it; keeping forms or several sizes loaded divides that reserve.
Open the front extension, keep the stack under the tabs and fill indicators, and adjust guides so they touch without bending paper. In a drawer, squeeze the guide latches, set width and length, load below its line and confirm the panel's size and type. Choose Modify if those settings differ from the real stock, then make the computer job agree.
Tray 1's Any Size/Any Type behavior deserves attention: when the job does not specify a tray, the guide warns it can print from the front even when its contents do not match the requested settings. Explicit source, size and type are useful for a carefully prepared color job. Expanded 2,350-sheet capacity needs optional feeders.
Reload printed sides face up for manual duplex
In the compatible Windows HP driver, open Finishing and select Print on both sides manually. After the first pass, retrieve the stack and put it in Tray 1 with the printed side facing up, then follow the panel prompt. The original Mac HP-driver procedure separately removes blank front paper and also returns printed sides up.
This direction is specific to the M750 original and differs from some monochrome LaserJet guides. A person must still collect and reload the stack. If unattended second sides are essential, compare the actual M750dn configuration instead of relying on the family name or a broad automatic-duplex paragraph.
For one-sided portrait preprinted paper, the front orientation table gives face down with the top toward the back; lower drawers use face up/top at the back. Landscape and Alternative Letterhead Mode have their own directions. Follow the actual orientation and driver setting rather than using one remembered rule for every form.
Distinguish plain, coated and envelope stock
The exact US fields and detailed original type table limit lower ordinary paper to 120 g/m², with approved coated stock up to 160. Front input reaches 220, with reduced capacity for thicker material. A separate generic guide table claims higher lower-tray limits; this review keeps the more specific conservative type limits.
Use laser-approved coated media, not inkjet photo stock. Up to ten suitable envelopes no heavier than 90 g/m² use Tray 1 face down, short edge entering, with the top toward the back of the printer. Select the actual size and type. Envelope printing is one-sided and is not a reason to borrow another generation's face-up instruction.
Release a computer PIN job and keep mobile printing separate
The exact US configuration lists 1 GB RAM and included 8-GB solid-state storage. A compatible driver offers Personal Job with PIN protection; the original Mac procedure uses four digits. At the panel choose Retrieve from Device Memory, the folder and job, enter the code and release copies.
Names may gain a number or replace an earlier file, and space pressure may remove older jobs. Keep the source elsewhere. The actual M750 prose does not establish an automatic post-print or power-loss deletion rule, and this n does not include the xh's encrypted hard disk.
Exact US specifications also list AirPrint and Mopria. A separate local mobile arrangement uses printer Ethernet and a compatible client reaching the same network through its wireless router. Mobile paper size, input count, duplex and PIN remain unconfirmed. The original expressly excludes USB AirPrint; wireless hardware requires the optional Jetdirect accessory.
The front flash-file USB host is distinct from rear computer USB, and its enablement should follow the exact online instructions referenced by the guide. A color display, four toner cartridges and stored jobs do not add scanning, copying or fax to this print-only machine.
Keep color settings and consumables concrete
The driver provides Automatic/HP EasyColor and grayscale controls. Grayscale reduces color-cartridge use without proving every gray uses black alone; the separate Neutral Grays setting distinguishes Black Only from four-color neutral gradients. No measured color-accuracy or photo-quality result is claimed.
The exact supply table identifies CE270A black and CE271A/CE272A/CE273A cyan/yellow/magenta. Their declared replacement yields are approximately 13,500 black and 15,000 CMY pages under the exact HP 650A continuous-printing ISO/IEC 19798 wording. The box lists four cartridges without a separately established supplied yield here.
HP recommends 2,500–13,000 monthly pages, distinct from 120,000 maximum duty. Declared one-sided Letter speed is up to 30 ppm in black and color. The US body is 21.4×23×18 inches and 115.3 lb; allow its approximately 33×38.5-inch opened footprint plus service room before choosing the actual manual-duplex arrangement.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Exact US header positively declares up to 30 one-sided Letter ppm for both black and color; A4 is separately 30 in the original maker text. Recommended monthly use is 2,500–13,000 pages, distinct from maximum duty 120,000. No measured complex-job, photo, duplex or mobile speed inferred.
Paper handling
Included front 100, Tray 2 250 and Tray 3 500 total 850 ordinary 20-lb/75-g/m² sheets. Actual original size table positively includes Letter, Legal, A4, A3 and Tabloid 11×17 in all three inputs; full selected-size count assumes all contain that size. Open front extension, keep under tabs/fill lines, adjust guides without bending stock and confirm panel size/type with OK or Modify to match the computer job. Tray 1 set to Any Size/Any Type can select mismatched stock if the job does not explicitly request a tray. Ordinary lower limits are 60–120 g/m² and approved coated stock up to 160; front reaches 220. The separate original generic capacity table’s lower220 claim conflicts with the actual type table and exact US limits and is not used. Envelopes are front-only, up to ten suitable envelopes no heavier than 90 g/m², face down with short edge entering and top toward the back. Use laser-approved media, not inkjet-coated stock. Optional 2,350-sheet expanded capacity is not included. Exact n supports manual second sides, not standard automatic duplex. Actual Windows Finishing and Print on both sides manually returns the printed stack face up in Tray 1; separate Mac HP-driver routine also returns printed sides up after removing blank front stock. For one-sided portrait preprinted stock, front loads face down/top toward the back, while lower loads face up/top at the back. Landscape and Alternative Letterhead Mode require their actual distinct directions.
Scanning arrangement
Four-color laser printing is positively supported, but this is print-only hardware with no scanner, document feeder, copy function or fax. A color control display and generic photocopy/fax wording in color-management advice do not establish multifunction hardware.
Computer and mobile connections
Included Gigabit Ethernet and rear USB 2.0 computer device connection with compatible HP driver; USB cable separately purchased. Front walk-up flash-file USB is a different function, and the original directs administrators to exact online setup for enablement rather than establishing a default state or menu path here. Infrastructure wireless requires the optional Jetdirect 2700w accessory. No included Wi-Fi Direct or Bluetooth printing inferred.
Supplies and declared yields
Exact original M750 supply table identifies CE270A black, CE271A cyan, CE272A yellow and CE273A magenta, HP 650A. Exact HP CE270A and CE271A pages establish approximately 13,500 black and 15,000 CMY declared pages with continuous-printing ISO/IEC 19798 wording, including composite CMY conditions. The printer page’s conflicting generic ISO/IEC 19752 label is not adopted. The original box lists four color cartridges, without a separately established supplied-cartridge yield here. No price, stock, installed remainder, blanket refill guarantee or cost per page inferred.
Software and support
Exact US configuration lists 1 GB RAM and included 8 GB SSD. The original compatible computer-driver Personal Job supports PIN release, with four digits in the Mac procedure. At the panel select Retrieve from Device Memory, folder and job, enter PIN and release copies. Duplicate names may be numbered or overwritten; storage pressure may remove oldest jobs. The actual M750 prose does not establish an automatic post-print or power-loss deletion rule, so none is imported. The illustration’s CP4520 driver title is a generic screenshot, not M750 identity or an independent deletion-rule source. No xh encrypted hard disk or permanent archive included. Compatible driver Automatic/HP EasyColor provides ordinary color adjustment. Print in Grayscale on Windows or Print Color as Gray on Mac reduces use of color cartridges; it is not proof that every gray uses only black. In the separately documented Neutral Grays setting, Black Only uses black toner for neutral colors, while 4-Color combines all four for neutral gradients. No measured color accuracy, photo-quality score or universal color-cartridge bypass promised.
Electrical edition and setup
Exact US D3L08A#BGJ is explicitly discontinued and commercial Class A, with documented 110–127 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Separate 220–240-V editions are not dual voltage or convertible. Exact US closed body is 21.4 inches wide, 23 deep and 18 high, with published weight 115.3 lb. Fully opened footprint reaches approximately 33-inch width and 38.5-inch depth. Allow tray, output, ventilation, cable and service access; verify actual plate, condition, accessories and compatible current host driver. No stock, price or seller-condition promise.
