M575f (CD645A#BGJ)Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

Shared color office documents with configured network-folder capture and occasional Legal work.

The main tradeoff

Legal paper uses only the supplied 100-sheet bypass unless the optional larger cassette is fitted.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can it scan both sides of Legal originals in color and print Legal duplex with 100 Legal sheets ready and PIN release?

Yes, with compatible configured Ethernet scanning and desktop Job Storage. Legal paper uses the supplied bypass.

Does the supplied configuration hold 350 Legal sheets?

No. The 250-sheet main cassette does not accept Legal; the supplied bypass holds 100 ordinary Legal sheets.

Does the f feeder establish Flow c-style single-pass scanning?

No. That precise single-pass mechanism is not established for the exact f configuration.

Check the paper size before accepting the input total

The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M575f combines color printing, scanning, copying and fax. Its supplied paper arrangement totals 350 ordinary sheets, but that headline needs an important qualification for anyone using Legal forms.

The 250-sheet main cassette is for shorter sizes such as Letter and A4. Legal paper uses the supplied 100-sheet multipurpose input. An optional larger cassette can change that routine, but it should not be counted unless the actual offer includes it.

Occasional Legal work and repeated Legal batches are different fits

For an office mainly using Letter, the two sources can keep ordinary stock available while reserving the bypass for another supported material. That may be convenient when the longer form is an occasional exception rather than the main workload.

If Legal printing dominates the day, compare how often the smaller source needs attention. Check the correct optional feeder or compare a machine whose supplied main cassette accepts the required size. The right decision follows the repeated document routine rather than the largest generic capacity number.

Automatic two-sided output supports the documented ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 sizes under suitable media and software settings. Check binding and a complete sample before running mixed-orientation files or preprinted forms. Envelopes have their own instructed bypass routine.

The f scanner is not the Flow c scanner

The M575f has a 50-sheet feeder for automatic two-sided document work and a glass supporting originals through Legal size. Those paths make it possible to handle batches and originals that should stay out of rollers.

The larger 100-sheet single-pass capture package, pull-out keyboard and enhanced Flow features belong to the separate c configuration. A family review should not transfer them to the f. Compare the exact scanner routine when scan-heavy work is the reason for buying.

Try representative originals and inspect the saved file for order, edges, color and blank-page handling. Include a two-sided batch. A working print engine does not establish that an earlier machine's feeder and scanner meet the same condition standard.

Network capture needs a working destination

Ethernet scanning to a configured network folder is the established office route. The destination needs compatible sharing, a correct path and valid access. Set up a clearly named destination and check that the people using it can find their files.

Test delivery after changing a computer or network setting. Printing may continue while a folder connection fails because permissions or credentials have changed. The touchscreen shortcut is useful only when the complete route still works.

Walk-up memory-device scanning should not be confused with direct scanning into a desktop application over computer USB. These are separate connection arrangements. Check current driver and server support for the actual computers in the office.

Included fax and private jobs add practical checks

The f configuration includes analog fax and a convenience stapler. Fax still needs its supported telephone setup; the walk-up stapler is not the same as an automatic finishing mailbox. Inspect those functions if they form part of the purchase decision.

The original non-Flow guide describes holding a compatible desktop job and releasing it at the panel with a PIN. Test that complete routine with the intended software. It is different from assuming that every mobile or basic driver route supports the same private-job settings.

Choose an earlier color office machine by its complete condition

HP marks the exact US product discontinued. Check supplies, feeding, representative color output, scanner condition and current software support. Wireless needs optional equipment, so a wired offer should not be treated as cable-free by default.

Confirm the actual regional electrical plate and measure space with trays and scanner access available. Choose the M575f when its color capture, fax and supplied Letter-oriented paper arrangement fit the work, while treating repeated Legal output as a separate capacity decision.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

HP declares 31 Letter or 30 A4 pages per minute in monochrome and color. Recommended monthly output is 2,000–6,000 pages, distinct from 75,000 maximum duty. Scanner rates are separate.

Paper handling

Supplied input is 100 + 250 sheets for ordinary Letter/A4. The main cassette cannot hold Legal; supplied Legal capacity is 100 sheets through Tray 1. The optional 500-sheet cassette is additional equipment. Automatic duplex for ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 is documented with suitable media/settings.

Scanning arrangement

The exact f has a 50-sheet two-sided feeder and Legal glass; ordinary Letter, Legal and A4 originals are documented. Its precise feeder mechanism is unconfirmed here. Flow c single-pass hardware, 100-sheet capacity, keyboard and OCR are not transferred. Use a configured compatible Ethernet folder for computer delivery.

Computer and mobile connections

Computer USB, Gigabit Ethernet and analog fax are supplied; telephone setup is required. Wireless is optional. AirPrint and Mopria declarations do not establish every desktop paper, PIN or scanning combination. Check current clients and drivers.

Supplies and declared yields

Exact US references include 507A black/color and optional 507X black. Check regional part numbers and actual condition. Declared full-cartridge yield is not remaining installed toner or current cost.

Software and support

The f includes 1.5 GB memory, a minimum 250 GB secure disk and a convenience stapler. The original non-Flow guide documents compatible desktop Personal/Stored Job PIN release at the panel. Government FIPS storage, advanced software and automatic finishing are separate.

Electrical edition and setup

Earlier US CD645A#BGJ, marked discontinued and commercial Class A. Check the actual regional electrical plate; it is not dual voltage. The original weight is 103.5 lb with toner. Published width differs between sources, so body dimensions remain unassigned.
