Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the ordinary 4750EN provide 350 included Letter sheets over Ethernet for color desktop printing?
Yes. Its included 100-sheet multipurpose source and 250-sheet cassette both accept ordinary Letter, giving 350 sheets through a compatible Ethernet desktop driver.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the same 350-sheet included total apply to Legal paper?
No. Legal is accepted by the 100-sheet multipurpose source but not the included 250-sheet cassette. The Legal-capable lower cassette is optional.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the EN suffix include the DN automatic duplex mechanism?
No. The actual operating guide identifies automatic duplex as a 4750DN function. The EN does not meet an automatic two-sided printing requirement.

The Konica Minolta magicolor 4750EN is a color laser printer for computer output. It has no document scanner, copier or telephone fax. Its network connection and color engine make it a possible reference for an existing office printing routine, but the exact suffix matters before considering any advertised family feature.
The actual operating manual restricts automatic duplex to the magicolor 4750DN. The EN therefore does not satisfy an automatic two-sided requirement. A driver offering page arrangement or a person turning paper over does not add the DN mechanism. Check the machine label when a used unit is described simply as a 4750.
Legal paper has a smaller included reserve
The ordinary configuration combines a 100-sheet multipurpose source with a 250-sheet cassette. That makes 350 sheets for supported ordinary Letter or A4 paper. The source table does not approve Legal in that included cassette: its supported length ends at 297 mm.
Legal instead uses the multipurpose source, so its included reserve is 100 sheets under the stated plain-paper conditions. An optional 500-sheet lower cassette can accept Legal, but it is an addition to the ordinary package. A requirement for 350 included Legal sheets cannot be met by adding the numbers printed beside incompatible sources.
Set the actual size and paper type in the source and driver. Envelopes and special stock have their own construction, loading and quantity restrictions; the ordinary-paper total is not an envelope allowance. Avoid materials whose adhesives, windows or surface treatments are unsuitable for laser heat.
The wired computer route is straightforward
The original specifications include computer USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet, with PCL and PostScript support for the listed compatible desktop systems. Confirm that the necessary driver still works on the intended computer before relying on this earlier model.
The separate USB host function should not be confused with the computer cable connection. Direct file printing has optional-storage prerequisites in the original US brochure. Likewise, the presence of Bonjour or IPP is insufficient evidence for native AirPrint, and included Wi-Fi is not established.
Storage changes more than document convenience
The US brochure assigns secured jobs, print-and-hold and stored jobs to an optional 40 GB hard disk. Those functions should not be promised for an ordinary EN merely because they appear in a list of family possibilities.
If an existing machine has that accessory, inspect its installed configuration and compatible driver instructions separately. A memory specification or administrator password is not proof of confidential job release. This assessment keeps optional stored-job functions outside the included configuration.
Read the speed and supply conditions literally
The operating specification distinguishes 31.6 pages per minute for Letter simplex from 30 for A4, in both monochrome and color. These are maker declarations for the stated mode, not a measurement of short documents, processing delays or duplex output.
The 120,000-page monthly duty figure is a maximum rather than a recommended monthly interval. Toner declarations use 5% Letter or A4 coverage and distinguish the starter cartridges from higher-capacity replacements. Imaging units and other maintenance parts have separate limits.
The actual guide also explains that initialization and calibration consume some color toner even when output is monochrome. Black-only document use therefore should not be described as eliminating every color-related consumable operation.
Allow room for the actual machine
The US brochure specifies a 120 V version and a body approximately 16.5 by 20.6 by 13 inches. Opening sources and service panels requires additional space. Regional loaded-weight figures differ, so verify the actual configuration and use suitable handling assistance rather than treating an unqualified shipping weight as the printer's working mass.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The actual operating specification separates 31.6 ppm Letter simplex from 30 ppm A4. The 120000-page monthly duty is a maximum, not a recommended working interval.
Paper handling
Included input is a 100-sheet multipurpose source plus a 250-sheet cassette. Letter and A4 use both; Legal uses the multipurpose source and optional lower cassette, not the included 250-sheet cassette. Included named-size capacity is therefore 350 Letter/A4 and 100 Legal. Automatic duplex belongs only to 4750DN.
Computer and mobile connections
Included computer USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet support compatible desktop drivers. USB host direct printing is a distinct feature requiring optional storage for the listed file formats. Bonjour and IPP do not establish native AirPrint or Mopria.
Supplies and declared yields
The original brochure specifies 2000-page starter toner and 4000/6000-page replacements on a 5% Letter/A4 coverage basis, not an asserted ISO yield. Four imaging units have separate lives. The actual guide warns that initialization and calibration consume some color toner even during monochrome use.
Software and support
The original US brochure assigns secured jobs, print-and-hold and stored jobs to the optional 40 GB hard disk. The included EN is not credited with PIN release or the DN automatic duplex mechanism.
Electrical edition and setup
The original US brochure explicitly specifies 120 V 60 Hz, separately from Latin American voltage. Body dimensions use the US brochure 16.5 × 20.6 × 13 inches. Its loaded mass differs from the regional operating guide, so a single loaded weight is not assigned. Allow multipurpose extension, service access and ventilation space.
