Separate the job rate from the volume recommendation
Lexmark declares up to 35 one-sided Letter pages per minute in either black or color. Automatic print duplex is rated separately at 17.5 Letter sides per minute. These manufacturer figures describe different modes; they are not measurements from testing for this article. The recommended range is 1,500–8,500 printed pages monthly. The 85,000-page maximum duty cycle is a separate ceiling for comparing robustness.
