The Lexmark CS410dtn is useful to distinguish from a base CS410 configuration because its duo paper assembly is included. The US package combines a 250-sheet main drawer, a 550-sheet additional drawer and 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, plus a one-sheet manual path. It also includes automatic duplex. Those are practical differences for a workgroup using several supported ordinary-paper sources.
The original research lead points to UK part 28D0125. An independently read US manufacturer page establishes part 28D0100, which is the configuration covered here. Both original identities are retained rather than treating their regional parts as identical stock. Lexmark marks the model discontinued, so confirm the physical package, region and software support of an offered machine.
Use the US Letter figures for US work
The US specification declares up to 32 one-sided Letter pages per minute in black or color, with automatic duplex separately 15 Letter sides per minute. The UK lead quotes 30 pages per minute on A4. Neither is an interchangeable unit conversion, and a slower duplex mode should not be described using the one-sided rating. These remain maker declarations rather than performance measured by this article.
The monthly recommendation is 800–6,000 printed pages, while maximum duty is separately 75,000. More drawers can reduce some reload interruptions, but they do not raise that routine workload recommendation. A team planning ordinary 7,000-page months should recognize the mismatch even if the optional input maximum appears ample.
Count the included sources accurately
The standard 900+1 headline is based on 20-pound or 75-gsm media. Its normal stack-fed sources total 900 sheets: 250 in the main drawer, 550 in the duo drawer and 100 in the duo's multipurpose feeder. The remaining plus-one source is a manual sheet, not another stack. Letter, Legal and A4 have positive support in all three normal sources and in automatic duplex.
Use the guides and paper-size/type settings appropriate to the load. The manual explains linking matching trays and keeping unlike paper types separate through their settings. Suitable envelopes use the manual or multipurpose feed in a separate one-sided routine; ordinary-paper duplex support does not authorize duplex envelopes. Verify the intended specialty stock before ordering a large quantity.
A further 550-sheet tray can raise maximum input to 1,450+1. It is an additional option even though the duo assembly is already supplied. The guide also calls for an appropriate printer stand or base for multiple-input arrangements, so the final installation should be checked as a complete physical configuration.
