A useful fit for

An 800–6,000-page monthly workgroup needing separate paper sources, two-sided document capture and configured analog fax.

The main tradeoff

The included package is 23.63 inches tall; the reversing scanner is not single-pass, and final input expansion or Wi-Fi needs options.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I print color Legal duplex, scan both sides of Legal originals over USB, copy and fax with 900 normal included Legal sheets?

Yes with earlier references enabled, compatible USB computer software and separate configured analog phone service. The exact dte package includes the paper sources, print duplex and reversing ADF.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can both the flatbed and duplex feeder accept intact Legal originals?

No. Legal supports the reversing feeder but not the glass; requiring both routes cannot be satisfied by substituting the ADF.

Explore this need in the finder →
Will the complete included package fit a body-height limit of 22 inches?

No. The exact dte body is 23.63 inches high before operating clearance. A smaller base-machine height is not used instead.

A package with more included input

The Lexmark CX410dte combines color print, scan, copy and analog fax functions with an included duo paper assembly. Exact US part 28D0600 supplies the additional drawer and multipurpose feeder as part of the package. That gives it a different starting input capacity and physical height from a bare CX410 engine, even though the underlying document functions are closely related.

The original in-box record names a CX410de printer and explicitly includes the duo assembly. Read those entries together rather than treating the box name as a different machine or assuming that every de offer includes the same paper hardware. Lexmark marks this model discontinued, so confirm the regional part, real equipment, condition and software before making a decision.

900 normal sheets, plus one manual sheet

The included ordinary sources total 900 sheets: 250 in the main drawer, 550 in the duo drawer and 100 in its integrated multipurpose feeder. A separate manual sheet accounts for the 900+1 headline. Capacities use the stated 20-pound or 75-gsm paper basis. Letter, Legal and A4 have positive support in those three normal inputs and the included automatic print-duplex path.

Use the appropriate guides and size/type settings when keeping different stock available or linking matching trays. Suitable envelopes use a separate one-sided manual or multipurpose routine; automatic duplex for ordinary Legal paper does not imply duplex envelopes. Another 550-sheet lower drawer can reach maximum input of 1,450+1, but is optional. Verify the complete supported stack and necessary furniture before depending on that expansion.

Two-sided output and reversing capture are distinct

The model includes automatic print duplex and a 50-sheet reversing duplex ADF. The feeder turns originals over to capture their second side, rather than scanning both faces in one pass. Letter, Legal and A4 support the feeder. The glass instead has positive Letter and A4 support and explicitly excludes Legal, so a Legal feeder cannot satisfy a requirement for a Legal flatbed.

One-sided Letter printing is declared at up to 32 pages per minute in black or color. The exact duplex print row gives 15 black Letter sides per minute. Simplex scanning has its own 32 Letter or 30 A4 sides-per-minute declaration, while reversing duplex scanning is separately 14 Letter or 13 A4 sides per minute for black or color. These maker figures describe different modes, without establishing measured job completion.

Computer scanning and telephone fax need their own setup

The US record explicitly names USB or network-connected computers as scan destinations. The original guide describes a network profile with an output location and shortcut, as well as a separately conditioned Scan to Computer routine. Verify the current computer software and intended scanning path. A front flash-drive socket is a different route from the USB Type-B computer connection.

Analog fax is declared at 33.6 kbps. It additionally requires the LINE connection to a suitable active analog telephone service, fax name and number, and the appropriate answer settings. Ethernet or USB handles computer print/scan functions, not that analog telephone transport. Check an office's actual service arrangement rather than assuming any VoIP connection is equivalent.

Gigabit Ethernet is included, while Wi-Fi requires optional MarkNet hardware. AirPrint and Mopria use suitable shared networking and compatible applications. Compatible Print and Hold submission separately supports a computer-set four-digit PIN and release through Held Jobs. Ordinary protected jobs use memory without an optional disk being required, but a generic mobile print action need not submit the same confidential job.

Workload, consumables and the full body

The recommended monthly print range is 800–6,000 pages, separate from the 75,000-page maximum duty figure. More included paper does not raise that ordinary recommendation. US supplied toner is declared at 1,400 pages for black and each color. Specific higher-yield replacements include 80C1HK0 black at 4,000 pages and 80C1HC0, 80C1HM0 and 80C1HY0 colors at 3,000 each under ISO/IEC 19798. Check geographical restrictions, Return Program terms and separate imaging/developer requirements.

The included-configuration body is 17.48 inches wide, 21.99 deep and 23.63 high at 69.55 pounds. Allow extra scanner, paper and service access, and inspect the actual electrical label and cord. The supported choice is this complete package when its included paper sources and reversing capture fit the real routine, rather than a smaller base machine imagined with its accessories.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

Maker maximum 32 one-sided Letter print pages/minute in black/color; automatic duplex print row declares 15 black Letter sides/minute. A color print-duplex rate is not separately assigned from a copy-speed row. Simplex scan 32 Letter/30 A4 sides per minute, reversing duplex scan 14 Letter/13 A4, black/color.

Paper handling

Included 250-sheet main drawer plus 550-sheet duo drawer and its 100-sheet MPF provide 900 normal stack-fed sheets, plus a one-sheet manual source for 900+1 headline input at 20 lb/75 gsm. Letter/Legal/A4 support all three normal included sources and automatic print duplex. Envelopes use separate one-sided manual/MPF routines. Another 550-sheet lower drawer is optional, reaching maximum 1,450+1.

Scanning arrangement

Included 50-sheet RADF reverses originals for automatic two-sided capture; it is not single-pass. Letter/Legal/A4 support the feeder, while glass supports Letter/A4 but not Legal. Exact US specification positively names USB or network computer scanning. Included analog fax hardware is declared at 33.6 kbps. It requires the separate LINE connection to a suitable active analog phone service and fax name/number/answer setup. Ethernet or USB computer printing/scanning does not itself transport analog fax, and generic VoIP compatibility is not promised.

Computer and mobile connections

Included USB Type-B computer connection and gigabit Ethernet, with USB or network computer scanning explicitly named in the exact US specification. Wireless requires a separate MarkNet option. AirPrint/Mopria use a suitable shared network; a USB-only computer cable does not borrow mobile networking. No included Wi-Fi Direct arrangement is established.

Supplies and declared yields

US supplied CMYK toner each declared at 1,400 pages. US replacements include 80C1HK0 black at 4,000 pages and 80C1HC0/80C1HM0/80C1HY0 cyan/magenta/yellow at 3,000 each. ISO/IEC 19798 yields are declarations, not current printing costs. Match geographical restrictions and Return Program terms, keeping imaging/developer components separate.

Software and support

The exact scoped guide documents compatible Print and Hold, a computer-set four-digit PIN and Held Jobs panel release. Ordinary protected jobs use memory; an optional disk is not required for that routine. Check current driver/application/firmware support, since a generic mobile print button need not submit an equivalent protected job.

Electrical edition and setup

Earlier exact US reference. Verify actual part, regional supplies and current compatible software. Nominal mains input is not established; inspect the real electrical label and proper cord. Body measurements exclude scanner access, loading/service clearance and extended guides.
