Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can USB handle monochrome Legal duplex at 7,000 monthly pages with 300 included sheets?
Yes with earlier references enabled and compatible software. The exact d has integrated duplex, and the original table confirms Legal in both normal inputs and duplex.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the brochure’s series Network icon establish included Ethernet on the d?
No. Its separate exact column and US page list USB only and Ethernet Network No; external adapters are optional.
Explore this need in the finder →Can this scan original papers over USB?
No. Official hardware classification is print only, black and white.

The Lexmark MS410d can suit a workstation that needs ordinary monochrome duplex printing and a larger recommended monthly range than some small desktop models. Exact US part 35S0150 includes a two-line LCD, USB Type-B computer connection, 250-sheet drawer and 50-sheet multipurpose feeder. Its central tradeoff is the connection package: Ethernet is not standard on the d variant.
Lexmark marks it discontinued. Verify an offered unit's suffix, regional consumables, accessories and software before deciding. A common series brochure carries a Network icon, but its separate configuration table lists USB only for the MS410d. The MS410dn's included Ethernet must not be assumed to exist on this model.
Compare regular volume before maximum duty
Recommended monthly volume is 750–7,200 pages. The separate 80,000-page maximum duty cycle is a different robustness measure rather than an ordinary monthly target. A recurring 7,000-page queue fits the stated recommendation; an 8,000-page requirement does not become covered just because the maximum-duty figure is much larger.
Maximum one-sided Letter printing is declared at 40 pages per minute, with automatic duplex separately 18 Letter sides per minute. Those figures describe different modes. They do not promise that a complex application job, a sequence of short documents or a specialty-media task will complete at the continuous simplex rating. This analysis uses manufacturer documentation rather than measured performance.
Included duplex and two useful paper sources
Standard input is 300 sheets on the declared 20-pound or 75-gsm basis: 250 in the drawer and 50 in the multipurpose feeder. The original paper table supports Letter, Legal and A4 in both inputs and in automatic duplex. That makes ordinary two-sided Legal documents a documented routine, rather than something inferred merely from the presence of a duplex unit.
Match the guides and paper size/type settings to the load. Correctly matching source settings are also needed when linking paper supplies. Legal loading extends the main tray guide beyond the body, so allow extra operating depth. The 150-sheet output bin is separate from input and may need attention during a larger job.
Suitable envelopes have their own one-sided multipurpose-feeder routine. They do not belong in the main drawer or duplex path simply because envelopes appear in the media list. An optional 250- or 550-sheet second drawer can expand input, with 850 sheets maximum using the larger option. That maximum describes a different installed arrangement, not the supplied base package.
Keep networking and job protection explicit
The exact specification says Ethernet Network No and lists external network servers as optional. The shared guide includes network instructions, but those sections cannot add hardware to the USB-only printer. If a shared wired connection is essential, a separately documented network configuration is a more direct comparison than an unspecified external adapter.
USB Type-B is positively supported for computer printing even though the page has a separate Direct USB No field. The latter concerns a different direct-print facility. Confirm the intended current driver and application on an older computer setup. A complete confidential PIN-release routine is not established here, so that requirement also deserves an exact positive configuration.
Supply yield and installation details
The original US starter toner is declared at 2,500 pages. Listed replacements include 50F1000 at 1,500, 50F1H00 or 50F0HA0 at 5,000 and 50F1X00 at 10,000 under ISO/IEC 19752. The separate 60,000-page imaging unit has its own job and coverage basis. Match cartridge region and Return Program terms rather than assuming a yield number establishes current running cost.
The body measures 15.7 inches wide, 15.0 deep and 10.3 high at 31.1 pounds. Allow loading and service clearance, and inspect the actual electrical label and correct cord. Scanning, copying and fax need another device; neither the display nor software changes this print-only monochrome hardware.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Manufacturer maximum 40 one-sided Letter pages/minute, separately 18 Letter duplex sides/minute. Not an article measurement.
Paper handling
Included 250-sheet main tray and 50-sheet multipurpose feeder total 300 at 20 lb/75 gsm. Letter, Legal and A4 fit both inputs and automatic duplex. Set matching size/type and guides; Legal loading extends the main tray beyond the body. Suitable envelopes use a separate one-sided multipurpose routine. One optional 250- or 550-sheet tray is not included; maximum with 550 is 850.
Scanning arrangement
Print-only monochrome laser hardware, without document scanning, copying, fax or an ADF. A color display or mobile software does not add those functions.
Computer and mobile connections
Included USB Type-B computer connection. Exact Ethernet Network No; external Ethernet print servers are optional. Generic family networking or AirPrint artwork does not establish a standard network/mobile arrangement for the d variant.
Supplies and declared yields
US supplied Return Program toner 2,500 pages. Listed 50F1000 replacement 1,500; 50F1H00/50F0HA0 5,000; 50F1X00 10,000 under ISO/IEC 19752. Separate 50F0Z00/50F0ZA0 imaging unit 60,000 has different job/coverage conditions. Check regional restrictions and Return Program terms.
Software and support
Two-line monochrome APA LCD and compatible computer printing/settings software. Complete confidential PIN release and exact native mobile protocols remain unestablished for this USB configuration. Inspect current driver and application support.
Electrical edition and setup
Exact US configuration is separately established. Nominal mains input remains unestablished in the read sources; inspect the actual rating label and correct cord. Body dimensions exclude extended Legal guides, loading and service clearance.
