The Lexmark MS410dn offers a conventional monochrome workgroup arrangement: gigabit Ethernet, USB Type-B and automatic two-sided printing are included. Exact US part 35S0200 also has a two-line monochrome LCD, a 250-sheet drawer and a 50-sheet multipurpose feeder. The main decision is whether its 750–7,200-page recommended monthly range and 300-sheet supplied input fit the real queue.
Lexmark marks the model discontinued. For an offered unit, check the actual suffix, regional supplies, accessories and usable software. This is a source-based configuration reference, not a claim of current availability or measured output quality. The dn's included network port is a real distinction from the USB-only MS410d.
The network port does not include a wireless radio
The exact specification positively lists gigabit Ethernet and USB Type-B. A wired network is therefore part of the supplied package. Wi-Fi appears as an optional MarkNet N8352 installation, so a wireless requirement should not be satisfied by assuming that the radio exists on a base unit.
AirPrint is explicitly named for this exact US model. A compatible mobile device can use suitable shared networking that reaches the wired printer. Check discovery, firmware and device compatibility for the intended environment. This does not establish Wi-Fi Direct, and an ordinary mobile print command should not be treated as a separate protected-job workflow.
The printer has 256 MB of fixed memory and no disk according to the brochure's exact column. Memory size alone does not establish confidential PIN release. A complete exact routine is not confirmed in the read material, so choose a positively documented configuration if protected output is essential.
Separate ordinary monthly work from peak output claims
Recommended monthly volume is 750–7,200 pages. The 80,000-page maximum duty cycle is a separate measure of maximum robustness, not a recommendation for repeated use at that level. A regular 8,000-page month therefore exceeds the recommendation even though it is far below maximum duty.
Lexmark declares maximum one-sided Letter output at 40 pages per minute. Automatic duplex is separately 18 Letter sides per minute. Compare the appropriate mode rather than converting the simplex number into an assumed duplex completion time. Application processing, short jobs and the chosen media also affect how a rated figure relates to a real workday.
Use both included sources without counting options
The 300-sheet input headline combines 250 sheets in the main drawer and 50 in the multipurpose feeder on the stated 20-pound or 75-gsm basis. Letter, Legal and A4 fit both sources and the automatic-duplex path. A full suitable ordinary-paper load can use their combined capacity, while different paper types may be deliberately kept separate.
Set the size and type to match the load, and align the guides. When sources are linked, matching settings control substitution. Legal loading extends the length guide beyond the base, so allow more operating depth than the closed body suggests. The 150-sheet output bin is separate and can require attention during a longer run.
Suitable envelopes use a one-sided multipurpose-feeder routine. They are not ordinary main-drawer or automatic-duplex stock. A second 250- or 550-sheet tray is optional, with 850 sheets maximum using the larger accessory. Confirm the installed hardware and driver configuration before relying on that expansion.

Listed 50F replacements include 1,500-, 5,000- and 10,000-page options under ISO/IEC 19752, with a separate 60,000-page imaging unit and its own conditions.
