The Lexmark MS610de combines a 4.3-inch color touchscreen, automatic print duplex and a 550-sheet main drawer in an earlier monochrome printer. Exact US part 35S0500 also includes a 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, gigabit Ethernet and USB Type-B. It suits a documented 3,000–16,000-page recommended monthly routine when a larger ordinary-paper load and protected computer jobs matter.
The original lead was a regional en_xc page; a separate Lexmark US page identifies the same part and US configuration. Lexmark marks it discontinued. Check an offered unit's exact identity, installed options, regional supplies and current software. This is print-only black-and-white hardware, regardless of the color touchscreen or application names.
The de package has 650 sheets, not the expanded total
Included input is 650 sheets on the stated 20-pound or 75-gsm basis, split into 550 in the drawer and 100 in the multipurpose feeder. Letter, Legal and A4 fit both inputs and automatic duplex in the original paper table. This supports a meaningful ordinary-paper load without buying another drawer.
Set the guides and size/type to match the media, and use matching source settings when linking loads. Legal loading extends the length guide beyond the base, so allow additional operating depth. Suitable envelopes have a separate one-sided multipurpose-feeder routine; they are not automatic-duplex or main-drawer stock.
Additional drawers can raise maximum input to 2,300, but are optional. Do not borrow the extra included tray from a differently suffixed MS610 package. The exact de body is 15.7 inches wide, 15.6 deep and 12.1 high at 35.7 pounds. A drawer-equipped variant has a different height and weight, and every arrangement needs loading and service clearance.
Touchscreen release and distinct USB facilities
The separate MS610de guide chapter documents protected computer jobs submitted through compatible Print and Hold software. A four-digit PIN controls local release, with held-job expiration and memory conditions. Ordinary documented confidential printing does not require the optional hard disk. Check the intended driver and application rather than assuming every mobile print command offers the same controls.
USB Type-B connects to a computer. The printer also has front and rear Type-A facilities, but the guide restricts its flash-drive routine to the front host. Supported file types, permissions and FAT formatting conditions apply. A USB socket should not be treated as universal support for every storage device or document format.
Wired mobile access is different from included Wi-Fi
Gigabit Ethernet is included, while a MarkNet wireless adapter and internal parallel or serial interfaces are optional. AirPrint is explicitly named for the exact US printer and can use suitable shared networking while the printer remains wired. Confirm device discovery, firmware and the intended Apple device before relying on the route.
The shared mobile chapter does not establish every protocol for every printer model. A required Mopria routine needs exact confirmation. Likewise, mobile access does not mean an included wireless radio or a Wi-Fi Direct arrangement. Keep the desired connection and application requirements together when comparing alternatives.

The exact US page declares up to 50 one-sided Letter pages per minute and separately 22 Letter duplex sides per minute. Neither duty nor rated speed is a measured office-task result.
The original US starter toner declares 6,000 pages. Listed 50F replacements range up to 20,000 under ISO/IEC 19752, with a separate 60,000-page imaging unit and its own conditions. Match geographical cartridge restrictions and Return Program terms rather than assuming declared yield establishes present cost. Inspect the actual electrical label, correct cord and usable software before installation.
