Included duplex, with a narrower media limit than the shared family guide

The OKI C610dn is an earlier color LED printer with Ethernet, USB and an included automatic duplex unit. The successfully preserved 2015 Americas brochure identifies its 120V configuration separately from n, cdn and dtn. The ordinary dn has a 300-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray.

The shared C610/C711 operating manual requires attention to its model-specific exceptions. For C610, automatic duplex supports suitable stock from 64–120gsm. The wider C711 duplex range belongs to a different model, and the C610's largest simplex-media rating does not replace this limit.

Choose the actual route for each document

Letter, Legal and A4 are positively supported in the ordinary inputs and the applicable duplex range. For a routine two-sided document, use suitable stock and confirm that the installed unit is enabled in the driver. The exact hardware and software choices must describe the same installation.

The multipurpose path supports heavier simplex materials, with the rear exit used for the heavier end of the range. Longer banner sheets have an additional weight restriction. Those jobs need their own source, output and material settings rather than an ordinary duplex preset.

Envelopes also use the multipurpose path, and the guide explicitly excludes them from duplex. A supported envelope size does not establish that every flap, window or adhesive construction is suitable for the heated paper path.

Four hundred positions depend on the loading arrangement

The two included ordinary sources provide 400 conditional positions when allocated to the same suitable paper. A cassette holding Letter and a multipurpose tray holding envelopes are useful separate resources, but their full counts are not both available for a Legal packet.

Automatic continuation requires identical paper and the documented settings. Windows applications control that behavior through the driver. Additional 530-sheet drawers are options on dn; the second cassette included with dtn is not part of this standard configuration.

After a special-media job, inspect the next document's size and source. The guide also requires the multipurpose platform to be released after loading, so a full tray is not necessarily ready to feed until the physical setup is complete.

The cdn storage feature is not ordinary dn equipment

The 2015 brochure makes the SD card standard on C610cdn and optional on C610dn. Its footnotes tie encrypted secure printing and Direct PDF functionality to that storage. A broad series feature list should therefore not become an included dn capability.

The operating menu confirms that secure jobs are stored and searched after a password is entered, with the menu conditional on the card. Password-protected accounting policies have a different purpose. If confidential release is required, verify the real storage, driver and release procedure together.

Allow space beyond the published body rectangle

The operating guide explicitly measures the C610 without the duplex unit. Those compact dimensions and the corresponding mass are not used as a complete dn fit guarantee. Allow room for rear output, the included duplex hardware, loading and service access.

The printer's USB host connector for an optional secure-card solution is also distinct from the ordinary computer connection. The shared guide's parallel port belongs to C711, so it is not added to C610.

Separate output claims from supplies and condition

Single Pass Color refers to LED printing, not a document scanner. This machine has no integrated capture glass or feeder. Its advertised rates are not retained as verified Letter-specific figures here.

The original starter-toner declaration is below the replacement declarations, while separate drums have a three-page-job assumption. Maximum monthly duty is another ceiling. For an individual unit, actual supplies and service condition matter separately from these published figures.
