Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the included Ethernet C610n print Legal color documents with 400 suitable Legal positions if both ordinary inputs hold that stock?
Yes. The exact standard configuration has 300 + 100 input positions, and the original guide supports Legal in both ordinary sources. Compatible software and matching settings are required.
Explore this need in the finder →Is automatic duplex included with the ordinary C610n?
No. The maker lists the duplex unit as optional on n; the included dn arrangement is a separate configuration.
Explore this need in the finder →Does its network connection satisfy a requirement for computer document scanning?
No. This exact device is print-only and has no established document-capture hardware or scanning route.
Explore this need in the finder →A color network printer whose options need checking
The OKI C610n is an earlier color LED printer with included Ethernet and USB. The original 2015 Americas brochure identifies part 62446701 as the 120V model. Its ordinary configuration provides a 300-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray, with automatic duplex listed as an option.
That makes it suitable to assess first as a network or local one-sided printer. A particular used unit may have an added duplex assembly or storage card, but those additions should be inspected rather than assumed from a shared series photograph.
Do not let another suffix supply the missing accessory
The brochure separates several configurations. The dn includes duplex, the cdn includes the storage card, and the dtn includes an additional paper cassette. The ordinary n does not gain all three because their features appear together on one cover.
If automatic two-sided printing is essential, the standard model assessed here does not meet that requirement. An upgraded unit would also need the accessory enabled in a compatible driver and suitable media within the C610 duplex range. The shared guide's wider C711 duplex rating is not the C610 limit.
Similarly, encrypted secure release requires the documented storage and a matching driver workflow. The Print Secure Job menu is conditional on the optional card. A general accounting password or an ordinary network queue is not the same as a document waiting for PIN release.
Use the two included sources deliberately
The standard 400 paper positions combine both ordinary sources, provided they hold suitable stock of the chosen size. Letter, Legal and A4 are positively supported. If the multipurpose tray is reserved for envelopes or a different paper, it cannot also add its full count to a single-size document reserve.
The guide describes automatic source changes when identical paper is loaded elsewhere and the relevant setting is enabled. For Windows applications, the choice is in the driver. Check both the software preference and physical stock before relying on a longer packet to continue unattended.
Additional 530-sheet drawers are options. The maximum expanded capacity is a possible arrangement with extra hardware, rather than the amount included in the ordinary n configuration.
Check the output route before special materials
The multipurpose source can handle heavier simplex stock, while the rear, face-up exit provides the straighter path. Banner paper longer than Legal has its own weight range. Appropriate envelopes also use this source and must not be duplexed.
The rear exit takes priority when open and changes page stacking. Decide the route before printing, and check a short result after changing materials. The multipurpose loading instructions require releasing the platform after the stack is positioned, then setting the correct size in the media menu.
Labels and preprinted stationery need heat-compatible construction. A material fitting the tray dimensions does not by itself establish that it is suitable for the engine.
Establish a complete computer installation
PCL and PostScript emulations are documented, but present compatibility still depends on the exact driver and application. The original guide also notes that a locally connected sleeping printer can appear offline until its wake control is used.
The USB host connector described for a secure-card solution is distinct from the normal computer-printing port. The C711 parallel interface in the shared guide is not assigned to C610.
Allow working space and inspect supplies
The guide's body dimensions exclude optional duplex, consistent with this ordinary configuration, but loading, rear output and service still need more space. A fitted accessory changes the practical installation envelope.
The starter declaration is below the replacement-toner figures, and separate drums have a job-pattern assumption. Maximum monthly duty is another ceiling. Neither those supply estimates nor Single Pass Color printing terminology establishes scanning hardware or a recommended monthly workload.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The 2015 maker brochure advertises up to 32 color and 34 mono pages/minute, without established Letter-specific conditions in the read sections. The 75,000-page monthly duty is a maximum; no recommended monthly interval is assigned.
Paper handling
Standard input is a 300-sheet cassette and 100-sheet multipurpose tray. Both support ordinary Letter, Legal and A4, giving 400 conditional positions if allocated to the same suitable stock. Duplex is optional on n and excluded from ordinary matching. Additional530-sheet drawers are options; the maximum expanded reserve is not the included count. The multipurpose/rear route has distinct limits for envelopes, heavy materials and banners.
Scanning arrangement
The exact model is print-only. Its Single Pass Color LED terminology does not establish scanning, copying, fax, an ADF or a document glass.
Computer and mobile connections
Included Ethernet and USB support ordinary desktop printing. The host USB connector for a secure-card solution is separate. No included parallel, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct or native mobile protocol is established for this exact ordinary C610n.
Supplies and declared yields
The original2015 brochure distinguishes 2,000-page starters from replacement 8,000 black and 6,000 each color based on ISO 19798. Separate drum estimates are around20,000 pages at three pages/job. Actual consumables and service condition need inspection; none of these figures establishes a recommended monthly workload.
Software and support
PCL and PostScript emulations are documented. Verify the exact driver/application on the intended computer. Automatic source continuation requires identical paper and the driver or menu setting. The optional SD card is required for the 2015 brochure’s Direct PDF and encrypted secure-release features; C610cdn includes it, while n does not. Local USB sleep behavior can require the physical wake control.
Electrical edition and setup
The exact2015 ordering row maps C610n62446701 to 120 V. The original body dimensions without optional duplex are 17.1 × 21.5 × 13.4 inches, which fit the ordinary n configuration as body measurements; loading, rear output and service space are additional. Complete loaded mass is unestablished. Adding the optional duplex unit changes the installation envelope.
