Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the ordinary Ethernet C711n print Letter color documents with 630 suitable Letter input positions if both included sources hold Letter?
Yes. The exact n configuration includes the network interface and 530+100 ordinary input. Compatible software, matching stock and the correct source settings are required.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the standard n configuration meet an automatic duplex requirement?
No. Its duplex unit is optional, unlike dn; an accessory that might be fitted to an individual unit is not included in this standard plan.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the ordinary model include storage for password-released encrypted jobs?
No included SD storage is established. The exact guide makes that secure-job workflow conditional on the optional card.

The OKI C711n is an earlier color LED printer with ordinary Ethernet, USB and parallel connectivity. Its original maker brochure identifies a 120V configuration and separates n, dn and dtn. The n model has an optional duplex unit; the standard configuration assessed here therefore prints without included automatic two-sided hardware.
This is a consequential distinction for a shared office. A network queue can make the printer accessible to several computers, but it cannot add a missing paper-reversing unit. Inspect the actual accessories if an individual machine is described as upgraded.
Its ordinary paper reserve is genuinely larger than a small desktop tray
The standard C711n arrangement combines a 530-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet multipurpose input. Letter, Legal and A4 are supported in both ordinary sources. A combined 630-sheet reserve assumes that suitable stock of the chosen size is allocated to those sources.
If the multipurpose input is reserved for envelopes or another size, it cannot also contribute those positions to the ordinary-document reserve. Automatic continuation requires matching paper and the documented driver settings, rather than simply finding any material in another source.
Additional 530-sheet drawers are optional. The brochure's maximum expanded capacity and the dtn configuration's second included cassette should not be counted as standard n equipment.
Give special media their own workflow
The multipurpose input supports suitable envelopes, transparencies and heavier materials. The operating guide specifies rear, face-up output for the heavier end of the range. Long banner paper has a separate weight restriction, so the largest general media-weight rating is not a universal banner specification.
After loading, release the multipurpose platform and set the actual paper size in the media menu. The rear exit takes priority when open and changes stacking order. Check a short document after changing between ordinary paper and special stock.
An optional duplex unit would have its own size and weight range, below the largest simplex-media rating. Envelopes remain excluded from duplex by the original instructions, even on an upgraded machine.
Optional storage changes security capabilities
The series brochure discusses encrypted secure printing, but the operating guide makes its secure-job menu conditional on an optional SD card. That storage holds the authentication jobs searched after password entry. It is not assigned to the ordinary standard configuration.
Color-access policies and job accounting are different tools. A password protecting an administrative policy does not establish that a particular document waits for confidential release at the machine. For that requirement, verify the installed storage and exact supported driver workflow together.
Check computer support and physical access
The original software list includes PCL and PostScript emulations. Present computer compatibility still requires a check with the exact driver and application. The guide also notes that locally connected USB or parallel installations can appear offline after sleep until the physical wake control is used.
The stated body dimensions exclude the optional duplex unit. They suit the ordinary configuration as a body measurement, but rear output, paper access and service require additional room. An installed duplex accessory changes the practical envelope.
Keep the printing language literal
Single Pass Color describes the LED print engine, not document scanning. This machine has no integrated glass, feeder, copier or fax. Its advertised rates are also not treated as verified Letter-specific measurements here.
The starter-toner declaration is lower than the replacement figures, and separate drums have a three-page-job life assumption. Maximum monthly duty is a different ceiling. Judge an individual machine's supplies and service condition separately from those published declarations.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The maker brochure declares up to 34 color and 36 mono pages/minute without establishing Letter-specific conditions in the read sections. Letter rates remain unknown. The 100,000-page monthly duty is a maximum; a US recommended interval is not established.
Paper handling
The exact n configuration includes530-sheet ordinary input plus 100-sheet multipurpose input. Both support ordinary Letter, Legal and A4, giving 630 conditional same-size positions. Duplex is an optional unit on n and excluded from the standard plan. Additional530-sheet drawers are also optional. Appropriate envelopes and banners use the multipurpose source with their specific material/output limits.
Scanning arrangement
Single Pass Color is the LED printing process, not a scanner mechanism. The base printer has no integrated capture glass, ADF, copying or fax route.
Computer and mobile connections
The standard network model includes wired Ethernet, USB and parallel. Ordinary wireless and native AirPrint/Mopria are unestablished in the read original evidence. The current US support catalog positively identifies C711n but does not by itself establish a new hardware revision.
Supplies and declared yields
The Americas brochure declares 4,000-page starter toner, compared with replacement 11,000 black and 11,500 each color based on ISO 19798. Separate color drums are estimated around20,000 pages at three pages/job. The larger replacement yields do not describe included starters or a monthly recommendation.
Software and support
PCL and PostScript emulations are documented. The guide requires identical paper and appropriate driver settings for automatic source changes. An optional SD card enables the secure-job menu and encrypted password-release process; that storage is not ordinary included equipment. Check the exact driver and application on the intended computer. Locally connected sleeping units may need the physical wake control.
Electrical edition and setup
The maker brochure positively documents C711n62433501 as a 120 V configuration, assessed here. The later US support identity uses catalog62446801 without a documented mapping of revisions; no undocumented revision-specific feature is assigned. The original guide measures the n body without its optional duplex unit at 17.1 × 21.5 × 15.3 inches. Complete loaded mass is unestablished; leave rear-output, loading and service space.
