Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can an Ethernet desktop use the standard UF-8200 network feeder capture route and 550-sheet ordinary input when paper and scan size are flexible?
Yes, with the actual compatible software and destination configured. The brochure makes network capture standard on UF-8200 and documents the feeder and ordinary input. Exact-size capacity and scan coverage are separate unknowns.
Explore this need in the finder →Does its local USB printer interface establish USB computer scanning?
No. The original source identifies USB for local printing and Ethernet for the network scanner. A USB capture bridge is not established.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the optional second tray be counted as 1,100 included input sheets?
No. The ordinary configuration has 550 sheets. The second 550-sheet module is explicitly optional.
Explore this need in the finder →A fax-centered network document machine
The Panasonic UF-8200 combines monochrome laser output, fax, copying and standard network scanning in an earlier desktop office machine. Its 100-page document feeder and standard 550-sheet paper tray make the intended workflow clear: substantial packets of suitable loose originals and a shared supply of ordinary recording paper.
The exact model matters. Panasonic's original North American brochure also covers UF-7200, but marks Internet Fax, email and network scanning as optional on that smaller model. Those functions are standard on UF-8200. A shared cover is not a reason to erase that difference or to count every pictured accessory as included.
Separate local printing from network capture
The maker identifies USB 1.1 as the local printer interface and 10/100 Ethernet for network printing. Its scanner section specifically uses Ethernet. The network workflow includes Scan to PC, FTP server and email, giving a positive route from paper originals to a configured computer destination.
That does not establish the same capture function over USB. A desktop that can print through the local cable should not be assumed to scan through it as well. Choose and verify the actual network destination if document capture is essential.
The brochure names Panasonic's Windows printing system and historic operating systems. Confirm a working driver, destination application and saved sample file on the intended computer. Network printing by itself does not prove that a present shared folder or email service accepts this older machine's document-delivery arrangement.
Capacity needs the right interpretation
The standard input is 550 sheets. The additional 550-sheet module is optional, making the advertised 1,100-sheet maximum a different physical configuration. The brochure supports Letter and Legal printing, but does not separately allocate its capacity declaration to each size. Exact-size minimum-capacity requirements therefore remain unconfirmed here.
The 100-page feeder declaration applies to suitable 20lb, 75gsm originals. It does not mean every thick, damaged or unusually long document can be placed in an unattended stack. The exceptionally long document maximum also carries an operator-assistance condition.
Panasonic's headline scan time measures a limited feeding process. It excludes parts of document movement and complete storage, so it is not a promise that an entire packet will arrive as a usable computer file at that rate.
Layout, fax duplex and scan duplex differ
Two-in-one and four-in-one output fit multiple images onto a sheet. They do not establish automatic printing on both sides. Automatic print duplex remains unconfirmed in the read material.
The fax feature list also names Duplex Transmission. Without an established automatic feeder procedure and computer-capture mechanism, that phrase does not become automatic duplex scanning. The documented ordinary network feeder route is retained, while its precise named-sheet coverage and color capability remain unknown.
Security and options need their actual setup
Secure Mailbox printing is advertised with console password release. That is useful evidence of a feature to investigate, but the brochure does not resolve every driver, connection and included-storage prerequisite. Ordinary PIN-release matching is consequently left unconfirmed. Directory authentication, fax locking and print-job release serve different purposes.
For fax work, check the misdial-prevention settings rather than assuming they are active. Panasonic describes repeated manual-number entry, restricted keypad dialing and on-screen destination confirmation, but says the function is off by default. The useful safeguard depends on the office deliberately selecting the appropriate behavior.
The second fax port and telephone handset are optional. Check the installed configuration, electrical label, cartridge condition and analog-line arrangement. The named all-in-one cartridge's yield and the fax memory's page count are neither recommended monthly workload nor proof of the remaining supplies in a particular earlier unit.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The exact North American maker brochure declares 19 ppm but does not identify a Letter-specific print test. Its 0.7-second Letter scan figure is a restricted feeding-process measurement, not complete file delivery. No recommended monthly interval or maximum duty is established.
Paper handling
Letter and Legal printing are explicit, with a standard 550-sheet tray and an optional additional 550-sheet module. The brochure does not assign the 550-sheet capacity separately to each named size, so exact-size capacity remains unknown. Automatic print duplex is not established by 2-in-1 or 4-in-1 layout printing.
Scanning arrangement
The included 100-page ADF supports the explicitly advertised Ethernet Scan to PC, FTP and email arrangement on UF-8200. Named computer scan-size coverage, scan color and automatic duplex capture mechanics are not established. Duplex Transmission in the fax feature list is not treated as automatic duplex computer scanning. No flatbed route is established.
Computer and mobile connections
USB 1.1 is the local printer interface and 10/100 Ethernet is the network printer and network scanner interface. Network capture is standard on exact UF-8200 but optional on UF-7200. A USB computer-scan route, included wireless interface and native mobile protocols are not established.
Supplies and declared yields
UG-5570 is the named all-in-one cartridge, with a 10K declaration based on the brochure’s stated coverage/test conditions rather than an ISO/IEC 19752 claim. Inspect the actual cartridge and service state. Consumable yield and fax memory pages are not monthly workload ratings.
Software and support
The brochure identifies Panasonic Printing System for Windows and historic desktop operating systems. Network Scan to PC, FTP and email need their actual working software and destination configuration. Secure Mailbox password release is advertised, but included storage, supported driver and connection prerequisites are not sufficiently established to assign ordinary print PIN support. User Authentication and fax-access codes are distinct functions.
Electrical edition and setup
The Panasonic Communications Company of North America brochure identifies its New Jersey office and specifies AC120 V, 50/60 Hz. Approximate ordinary body dimensions are 17.3 × 17.7 × 14.2 inches. The second paper module adds height and is optional. The weight declaration does not clearly establish a complete loaded measurement, so weight matching remains unknown. The handset and second G3 communication port are optional.
