Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the P C600 combine Ethernet AirPrint and Mopria, color output, 600 included sheets and size-flexible automatic duplex?
Yes. The exact standard network protocols, input stacks and automatic duplex feature are documented.
Explore this need in the finder →Does a USB cable qualify the native Mopria network workflow?
No. The documented native network protocols are not inherited by the separate USB computer route.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the P C600 include an original scanner?
No. It is a dedicated color printer.
Explore this need in the finder →A workgroup color printer with substantial input and output
The Ricoh P C600 is a dedicated color laser printer for a compatible workgroup document routine. A 500-sheet main input and a separately specified 100-sheet bypass provide 600 included ordinary sheets, while the standard output holds 500. It offers USB and Gigabit Ethernet without adding scanner or fax hardware.
This assessment uses the documented US 120–127V configuration. Its combination of color output, wired native mobile printing and expandable paper handling can be useful when small personal printers would need too much attention, provided the substantial body and actual computer setup fit the office.
Paper expansion means fitting additional banks
Up to three optional 500-sheet paper banks explain the 2100-sheet expanded maximum. That figure is not the included base capacity. Ask which banks are actually supplied with an older unit before treating the maximum as a reason to choose the offer.
The standard paper lists cover Letter, Legal and A4. Envelopes are listed for the bypass and supported optional trays, rather than being automatically assigned to the main cassette. Follow the relevant loading and media instructions when changing from ordinary documents to envelopes, labels or thicker stock.
Automatic duplex has a distinct media range
Automatic two-sided printing is standard, with a 60–163gsm duplex paper condition. The bypass and optional trays have a broader one-sided weight range. That does not make every heavier medium appropriate for the duplex path, even if a tray can physically accept it.
The brochure does not separately establish each general paper size's duplex permission. The questionnaire confirms the automatic feature with flexible paper size, while a strict Letter, Legal or A4 duplex combination needs the relevant exact operating instruction rather than an inference from the ordinary input list.
Ethernet supports the documented native mobile protocols
AirPrint and Mopria are explicitly listed, alongside standard Gigabit Ethernet. Use the compatible configured network with the actual Apple or Android device rather than assuming the printer itself must contain a wireless radio for network printing to work.
Ordinary wireless LAN requires an optional unit. NFC and the Ricoh Smart Device Connector app provide pairing descriptions, not evidence that a base machine includes Wi-Fi Direct or an original scanner. A USB computer route also does not inherit native protocols from a separately documented network arrangement.
PostScript emulation and genuine Adobe are different configurations
The standard controller includes PCL and PostScript3 emulation with 2GB of memory. Genuine Adobe PostScript3 is a separate option. Confirm the exact current driver, language and fitted option if a particular workflow depends on Adobe's implementation rather than treating both configurations as identical.
A 320GB hard disk is also optional, but this sheet does not establish a precise PIN job-release procedure. User authentication alone is not proof of private collection. The manufacturer declares 42ppm without an explicit paper-size condition in that row, so a Letter-specific speed requirement is not filled from an assumed regional rate.
Check installation, supplies and the drum's stated condition
The body measures 17.5 × 22.4 × 18.5 inches and weighs 75 pounds. Leave room for paper, output, bypass and service access, and account for added banks or cabinets. Match the actual US electrical label and power requirement before positioning the printer.
Original starters are declared at 8000 black and 6000 color pages, with larger replacements listed separately. The drum's 300000-page declaration is conditioned on three pages per job, rather than being a universal remaining-life promise. This model fits supported wired color work with meaningful stack capacity, provided scanning, included wireless hardware or an unconfirmed private-release routine is not essential.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The 42 ppm declaration lacks an explicit Letter/A4 condition in this sheet. The 150000-page duty ceiling is separate from a recommended monthly interval.
Paper handling
Included input is 500 main plus 100 bypass sheets; three optional banks explain the 2100-sheet maximum. Standard duplex uses 60–163 gsm stock, with exact duplex sizes unassigned.
Scanning arrangement
This is a dedicated printer. It has no document scanner, automatic document feeder, copying or fax function.
Computer and mobile connections
USB and Gigabit Ethernet are included, with documented network AirPrint/Mopria. Ordinary Wi-Fi needs the optional M24 unit; NFC/app pairing does not add an included radio.
Supplies and declared yields
Starter and replacement CMYK yields are separate ISO declarations. Drum life depends on the stated pages-per-job condition; it does not establish remaining life or current page cost.
Software and support
PCL and PostScript emulation are standard; genuine Adobe PostScript is optional. A precise PIN-release procedure is not borrowed from C342DN or inferred from the optional disk.
Electrical edition and setup
The US reference specifies 120–127 V, 60 Hz, 12 A. Body: 17.5 × 22.4 × 18.5 inches, 75 lb with inclusion basis unspecified. Banks/cabinets add height and weight.
