SP213SNw (407630)Illustrated overview
A useful fit for

A compatible small-office print/copy/scan routine needing USB or network access and loose-original capture.

The main tradeoff

Fax belongs to the SFNw. Printing duplex is manual, and automatic duplex scanning or native mobile protocols are not established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can the SNw combine ordinary Wi-Fi monochrome printing with color Legal-original scanning through its ADF?

Yes. Included wireless networking, network scanning and the 35-sheet Legal-original feeder are documented.

Does the SNw include the SFNw fax feature?

No. The fax section and related controls explicitly belong to the SFNw.

Does Legal ADF support establish a full Legal scanning glass?

No. The glass maximum is 8.5 × 11.7 in, while Legal originals use the longer feeder route.

Choose the SNw for scanning and copying, without borrowing fax

The Ricoh SP 213SNw combines monochrome laser printing, copying and color scanning in an earlier US multifunction model. It includes a 35-sheet automatic document feeder and USB, Ethernet and ordinary Wi-Fi connections. Those are useful differences from the print-only SP 213Nw.

The exact SNw is part 407630. The SP 213SFNw in the same brochure adds fax and different one-touch controls. A family title containing both names does not make the SNw a fax machine, so it should not appear when all four document functions are essential.

Match Letter, A4 and Legal originals to their actual paths

The glass accepts originals up to 8.5 × 11.7 inches, covering Letter and A4. The feeder accepts longer loose originals up to 8.5 × 14 inches. A full Legal document therefore belongs in the feeder routine rather than being described as fitting the shorter glass.

The feeder holds 35 supported originals, but automatic two-sided capture and single-pass scanning are not established. ID-card copying and manual duplex handling are different jobs. They do not prove the ADF automatically captures both sides of every sheet.

The ADF's original-paper condition is 52–105gsm, while the printer's paper range reaches 130gsm. A heavier printable sheet therefore should not automatically be treated as a suitable feeder original.

Computer scanning is documented through the real connections

The original specification explicitly describes USB print/scan jobs from one computer and network TWAIN scanning over Ethernet, with wireless networking as another included arrangement. Install the exact compatible print and scanner software and configure the actual destination for that route.

Network folder, email and FTP destinations are listed, with a one-recipient-per-transmission condition. The front TypeA USB port is a separate Scan-to-USB function for portable media. It is not the same as the USB TypeB computer interface and should not be used to infer unrelated network features.

Ordinary Wi-Fi does not establish every mobile protocol

The wireless specification includes infrastructure and legacy Ad Hoc modes. Infrastructure is the ordinary configured-network choice. Ad Hoc should not be relabeled Wi-Fi Direct for a device that specifically needs that protocol.

Native AirPrint and Mopria are not established by this exact brochure. The PCL6 controller and historical Windows list also require an exact current-driver check. A built-in radio is useful, but it is not a complete answer to every phone, tablet or computer compatibility question.

Paper capacity and duplex handling remain modest

The ordinary cassette holds 150 sheets, with a separate single-sheet bypass. The 151-sheet headline counts that individually fed piece rather than another ordinary stack. The questionnaire uses 150 sheets for an included bulk-input requirement.

Duplex printing is manual. The supported paper range covers the documented Letter, Legal and A4 routine, but automatic two-sided printing is not available from this specification. The ordinary paper-type list also does not establish envelope handling solely because a bypass slot exists.

Check the offered configuration, supplies and working space

The manufacturer declares 23ppm Letter monochrome output. ADF scanning has separate monochrome and color rates under stated resolution conditions; those are not print speeds. No sustained recommended monthly range is established here, so a large monthly-volume promise should not be invented.

The US body is 15.8 × 14.2 ×11.5 inches and 24.4 pounds including the all-in-one cartridge, using 120V/60Hz power. Leave feeder, lid, paper and service access. Original starters are declared at 700 pages, with 1500- and2600-page replacements listed separately. This model fits a compatible connected scan/copy routine, provided fax, automatic duplex and native mobile protocols are not essential.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

Declared Letter output is 23 ppm. Monochrome/color feeder image rates use separate acquisition conditions and are not print rates.

Paper handling

Included bulk input is 150 sheets plus an individual bypass. Letter/Legal/A4 output and manual duplex are documented; the listed ordinary stock does not establish envelope handling.

Scanning arrangement

The 35-sheet Legal ADF and Letter/A4 glass support color computer capture over USB, Ethernet or ordinary Wi-Fi. Automatic duplex capture is unestablished; fax belongs to SFNw.

Computer and mobile connections

USB, Ethernet and ordinary infrastructure/Ad Hoc wireless are included. USB-host saving is separate. Legacy Ad Hoc does not establish Wi-Fi Direct or native mobile protocols.

Supplies and declared yields

The original separates 700-page starter and SP201LA/SP201HA replacement yields under ISO 19752. Verify exact supplies; no remaining-toner or current-cost claim is made.

Software and support

The exact SNw has PCL6 and 128 MB memory. Folder/FTP delivery uses one recipient per transmission; SFNw fax features are not transferred. Verify exact current drivers.

Electrical edition and setup

US SP213SNw 407630 uses 120 V, 60 Hz. Body: 15.8 × 14.2 × 11.5 inches, 24.4 lb including the cartridge. Allow feeder, lid and service access.
