Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the 3610SF combine Ethernet color single-pass Legal scanning with 350 included sheets and size-flexible automatic print duplex?
Yes. The exact 3610SF feeder, network computer-scanning route and 350-sheet standard input are documented.
Explore this need in the finder →Does USB printing prove USB computer scanning on this model?
Not from this exact source. USB host scanning to media is separate from the documented network computer-scanning route.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the optional 850-sheet maximum satisfy500 included sheets?
No. Included input is 350 sheets; the additional feed unit is optional.

The Ricoh SP 3610SF is an earlier monochrome LED multifunction machine with a 35-sheet single-pass duplex feeder. It is the relevant member of this family when a supported two-sided loose original should be captured without a reversing-feeder routine.
The exact US model is part 407305. The SP 3600SF uses an ordinary ADF, while the SP 3600DN is print-only. Their shared brochure does not make the feeders interchangeable or add scanning hardware to the dedicated DN printer.
Legal two-sided originals use the single-pass feeder
The specification explicitly supports two-sided feeder originals up to 8.5 × 14 inches. That gives the 3610SF a documented Legal single-pass route, subject to the actual original-paper instructions. It is different from merely having automatic duplex printing.
The brochure has inconsistent glass-length descriptions between copying and scanner sections. Letter glass is confirmed; a full A4 glass requirement is not positively qualified from that conflict. Full Legal originals should use the documented longer feeder rather than the shorter glass.
Use the documented network computer-scanning workflow
Network TWAIN and scan-to-folder through SMB/FTP are explicitly listed. The Ethernet arrangement therefore supports a compatible computer-scanning workflow when the exact driver or destination, permissions and network settings are in place. Color capture is supported even though printed output is monochrome.
USB computer printing and USB host scanning to portable media are different functions. This source does not establish computer scanning over the USB printer connection. A USB print feature should not inherit the scanner capability of a separately documented network route.
The scanner is specified up to 600dpi. Declared Letter scanning rates are 20ipm monochrome and 6ipm color, describing scanner operation rather than the printer's 31ppm output. Keep those modes separate when comparing a mixed job.
Wireless hardware and mobile protocols need separate confirmation
The P6 wireless unit is optional for the SF models, while USB and Ethernet are standard. Confirm the actual supported option before treating an older offer as wireless. Ordinary network access should not be confused with Wi-Fi Direct.
The Ricoh mobile app is described for a compatible device on the same network. It is not proof of native AirPrint or Mopria. Fax uses its own compatible G3 telephone arrangement, and LAN-fax software does not turn every network scanning destination into a fax connection.
Included input is 350 sheets, with expansion adding hardware
The input combines a 250-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet bypass. Optional 250- or 500-sheet feed units change the installed configuration; the larger option explains the 850-sheet maximum. The output holds 125 sheets, so clearing access still matters during a long job.
Automatic printing duplex is standard, but this brochure does not separately confirm each general input size's duplex permission. Longer custom-media and envelope support also should not be treated as automatic permission for the duplex path. Follow the actual instructions for the selected paper and job.
Assess the workload, supplies and body as distinct decisions
The manufacturer declares 31ppm Letter monochrome output. A 6,000-print maximum monthly volume and 50,000-print duty cycle are different figures, rather than a sustained recommended range. The SF controller has 512MB and genuine Adobe PostScript3, differing from the smaller-memory DN configuration.
The body is 15.8 × 15.4 × 16 inches and 41.89 pounds, using US 120V/60Hz power. Leave feeder, lid, paper and service room. Starter toner, replacement toner, photoconductor and maintenance kit have separate declarations and do not establish remaining machine life. Choose the 3610SF for supported Ethernet Legal single-pass capture when its documented connection and original handling fit the routine.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The exact US model declares 31 ppm Letter. Maximum monthly volume and duty are separate from a recommended interval; scan and first-page timings have their own conditions.
Paper handling
Included input is 250 cassette plus 100 bypass sheets. Automatic print duplex is standard, but exact duplex sizes remain unassigned. Optional paper input explains the 850-sheet maximum.
Scanning arrangement
The 35-sheet Legal feeder provides documented single-pass duplex color capture. USB computer scanning and full A4 glass coverage remain unestablished in this brochure.
Computer and mobile connections
USB computer printing and Ethernet are standard. Network TWAIN/SMB/FTP capture is documented; USB-host saving does not establish USB computer scanning. Wireless P6 is optional.
Supplies and declared yields
The original separates starter/replacement toner, photoconductor and maintenance-kit declarations. These are distinct service parts, rather than an all-in-one cartridge or remaining-life promise.
Software and support
The exact SF has 512 MB memory and documented Adobe/PCL support. Network scanning needs a compatible driver/destination; fax has separate telephone/software conditions. Private PIN release is unestablished.
Electrical edition and setup
US SP3610SF 407305 specifies 120 V, 60 Hz, 10 A. Body: 15.8 × 15.4 × 16 inches, 41.89 lb with consumable basis unspecified. Allow feeder, lid, paper and service access.
