Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the SP C250DN combine Wi-Fi color printing, automatic Letter duplex and 250 included ordinary sheets?
Yes. Those features are documented for the US DN; the wired network must be inactive when using its wireless network mode.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the SP C250DN include the SF scanner and fax?
No. The DN is print-only; the SF is the separate multifunction model.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the expanded751-sheet headline satisfy500 included sheets?
No. That total includes an optional 500-sheet drawer and an individually fed sheet. The included ordinary stack is 250.

The Ricoh SP C250DN is an earlier color laser printer with USB, Ethernet and ordinary Wi-Fi included. It can suit a compatible small-office document routine that needs color output and automatic two-sided Letter printing, while keeping scanning and fax in a different device.
The distinction from the SP C250SF matters. The SF adds a flatbed, document feeder, copying and fax; the DN does not acquire those functions because it appears in the same brochure. This assessment covers the US DN configuration, part 407519, rather than a generic family listing.
Start with the real 250-sheet paper stack
The ordinary cassette holds 250 sheets, with a separate single-sheet bypass for the instructed special-media routine. An individual hand-fed sheet is useful, but it does not make the cassette a 251-sheet stack. The questionnaire uses 250 sheets when judging the included bulk-input requirement.
A 500-sheet paper unit is an option. It supports Letter and A4 and adds its own height and weight. The expanded 751-sheet headline includes that optional unit and the individual bypass; it is not the basic machine's capacity, and it does not prove the added drawer takes Legal paper.
Letter duplex is a confirmed combination
The manufacturer declares 21ppm Letter in color or monochrome and 12ppm Letter in automatic duplex. These are different modes, so a two-sided job should not be planned around the one-sided headline. Current computer, driver and document complexity also affect the actual job.
Automatic duplex is standard, with a 60–90gsm paper condition. The broader 60–160gsm one-sided range does not make heavier paper suitable for the duplex path. Letter, Legal and A4 ordinary input are documented, but the general size list does not independently establish Legal or A4 automatic duplex. A strict size-specific questionnaire result therefore uses the confirmed Letter combination.
Choose the active network mode before setting it up
USB, wired Ethernet and ordinary wireless LAN are listed interfaces. The important restriction is that wired and wireless network connections cannot be active simultaneously. Decide which network the printer will actually use, and configure the computer and printer for that arrangement.
The Ricoh Smart Device Print & Scan app has an additional setup instruction: the PCL6 mode must be set to Universal for the specified app routine. That app description is not evidence of native AirPrint, Mopria or Wi-Fi Direct. If one of those protocols is essential, this brochure alone does not qualify the printer for it.
Check physical fit using the DN dimensions
The DN body is declared at 15.7 × 17.7 × 12.6 inches and 52.5 pounds with consumables. The SF multifunction model is taller and heavier. Use the DN figures to begin planning, then leave room for paper loading, cables, ventilation and service access rather than treating the closed body as the entire working space.
The optional drawer adds five inches of height and 13.2 pounds. The documented US edition uses 120V, 60Hz power. An older offer should match the actual model and electrical label; an attractive family name or similar-looking enclosure is not enough.
Budget for the supplied cartridges, not an expanded promise
The original starter declaration is 1,000 pages. SP C250A replacement cartridges are declared at 2,300 pages for each CMYK color under the cited ISO method. Those figures describe specified supplies, not the toner remaining in an offered printer or today's cost per page.
No sustained monthly recommendation or detailed passcode-print collection routine is established in this brochure. The useful case for the DN is therefore clear and limited: compatible color document printing, a 250-sheet ordinary stack and confirmed Letter duplex, without borrowing the SF's scanner or unrelated models' security features.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Manufacturer-declared 21 ppm Letter in monochrome or color and 12 ppm Letter automatic duplex. Neither an A4 rate nor a sustained monthly recommendation is established in this brochure.
Paper handling
250-sheet ordinary cassette plus a single-sheet bypass; bulk-input matching uses 250. Optional 500 drawer supports Letter/A4 and explains the 751-path total, not included capacity or expanded Legal capacity. Automatic Letter duplex is explicit at 12 ppm; Legal/A4 duplex permissions are not separately established. Duplex paper60–90 gsm versus one-sided60–160 gsm.
Scanning arrangement
SP C250DN is print-only. Flatbed scanning, 35-sheet ADF, copy and fax belong to the separate SP C250SF. A shared scanning-element row does not add scanner hardware to DN.
Computer and mobile connections
USB 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi are included. Wired and wireless network connections cannot be active simultaneously. Native AirPrint/Mopria and Wi-Fi Direct are not established; the Ricoh app requires PCL6 mode set to Universal.
Supplies and declared yields
1000-page starter cartridges; standard SP C250 A replacement cartridges declare2300 pages for each CMYK color under ISO/IEC 19798. Yield is not remaining supply or current page cost. The waste bottle declaration is 25000 prints.
Software and support
128 MB and 350MHz processor with PCL5c/PCL6/PostScript 3 emulation. Confirm current supported driver and the active interface; no private-PIN submission-and-release routine is established by this brochure.
Electrical edition and setup
Exact US DN part 407519 uses 120 V, 60 Hz. Body 15.7 × 17.7 × 12.6 in, 52.5 lb with consumables; the taller SF is a different chassis. Optional drawer adds 5 in height and 13.2 lb. Allow access for paper, cables and maintenance.
