Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can it automatically duplex ordinary Legal documents over Ethernet with 600 supplied sheets?
Yes, using the documented media and closed rear-output setup.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the standard configuration already hold 1,100 ordinary sheets?
No. That total needs an additional optional cassette.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the automatic duplexer scan both sides of originals?
No. It turns printed output; this model has no scanner.

The Samsung ML-2152W combines an included Ethernet interface with early 802.11b wireless networking. Its original model table distinguishes that package from the ML-2150 and ML-2151N, where networking arrangements differ. Check the full model before using a family-level description to compare offers.
Wireless can be convenient only when the actual network supports it. The documented standard is an early one, so verify the router, security configuration and compatible driver you intend to use. It should not be presented as modern WiFi Direct or automatic phone printing.
The supplied paper total is already substantial
The base paper arrangement combines a 500-sheet cassette with a 100-sheet multipurpose feed. That is 600 ordinary sheets, with an additional 500-sheet cassette available as an option. A maximum-capacity illustration does not establish that the lower cassette is supplied with an offered unit.
This arrangement can suit a shared desk that keeps a main stock ready while using the front feed for another job. Match the actual source and paper size in the driver. Keeping unlike materials in separate places does not remove the need to tell the software which one to use.
For longer queues, inspect the installed cassette rather than counting optional capacity from an advertisement. Confirm that guides, extensions and pickup components work with your regular stock. Leave space to withdraw a loaded cassette comfortably without pulling on rear cables.
Automatic duplex has documented size and media conditions
The original instructions provide automatic two-sided printing for Letter, Legal, A4 and Folio. The rear output must be closed for this routine. This makes ordinary two-sided Legal reports a documented use, rather than an assumption based on the presence of a duplex button.
Envelopes, labels, transparencies and thick stock do not share that duplex permission. Use the instructed single-sided media route instead. Select the appropriate binding and orientation settings, then check a short complete document before sending a long report.
The duplexer handles output paper. It does not turn the ML-2152W into a scanner or let it copy a two-sided original. Someone digitizing incoming documents needs separate original-capture equipment or a multifunction printer with the required scan route.
Included printer languages help define the software choice
The W configuration includes PostScript3 alongside PCL6 and older emulations. That is a model-specific advantage for an application needing the documented language, because the base ML-2150 lists PostScript as optional. Confirm the exact driver and language rather than assuming every family unit has the same installed capability.
Memory expansion is another separate decision. The brochure distinguishes standard memory from its maximum after an optional upgrade. Neither the maximum memory figure nor document watermarks establish a confidential PIN-release routine.
Before connecting an earlier wireless printer to a shared office, check who will manage its settings and whether the available network remains suitable. A configured Ethernet route may be easier to maintain when wireless compatibility is uncertain. The convenience you need is reliable access from the actual computers, not simply a wireless label on the cabinet.
Compare ongoing suitability, not the original marketing alone
The brochure states an A4 print rate rather than a Letter-specific one. Its monthly duty ceiling is a maximum specification, not a recommended recurring workload or our own reliability measurement. Real job time also depends on the file, connection and compatible software.
The original replacement and starter yields differ, and an earlier machine’s actual cartridge condition may differ from both. Check electrical labeling, consumables, paper feeding and network behavior before purchasing. Choose the ML-2152W when its supplied paper capacity, documented duplex sizes and compatible network arrangement fit; choose another model when scanning or present mobile-printing support is essential.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Brochure specifies 20 A4 ppm, without a Letter-specific rate; Letter rate unknown. Monthly 100,000 is maximum duty, not recommended recurring volume.
Paper handling
Included 500-sheet cassette plus 100-sheet multipurpose feed, 600 ordinary sheets for Letter, Legal or A4. Additional 500 cassette optional. Automatic duplex documented for Letter, Legal, A4 and Folio with rear output closed; envelopes, labels, transparency and thick stock excluded from duplex.
Scanning arrangement
Print-only equipment, without a scanner, copying glass, document feeder or fax.
Computer and mobile connections
Exact ML-2152W includes USB, parallel, Ethernet 10/100 and 802.11b wireless. Separate desktop USB/Ethernet and configured infrastructure WiFi arrangements; no modern Direct/AirPrint/Mopria inferred. Network addressing and actual router compatibility required.
Supplies and declared yields
Original 8,000-page replacement / 4,000-page starter ratings at stated coverage do not establish remaining toner, present price or cost per page.
Software and support
PCL6 and PostScript3 included on W, unlike optional PS for base ML-2150. 16 MB standard, 144 MB maximum with optional expansion. No established PIN-release routine.
Electrical edition and setup
Earlier exact XAA candidate retained with original North American-capable family reference; actual electrical plate unverified. Brochure body 386 × 436 × 326 mm (converted inches), 13.5 kg / 29.8 lb; operating clearances additional.
