Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can it print Legal pages through USB with 300 supplied ordinary sheets?
Yes, with the main and multipurpose inputs correctly configured.
Explore this need in the finder →Does a standard ML-2250 include Ethernet?
No. The network card is optional on this configuration.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the supplied package hold 550 ordinary sheets?
No. That needs the optional second cassette.
Explore this need in the finder →The base ML-2250 is a direct-computer arrangement
The Samsung ML-2250 includes USB and parallel connections for compatible desktop printing. Its original brochure separates it from the network-equipped N and W configurations. Ethernet and wireless cards are optional additions on the base model, so a family advertisement should not make them appear installed.
For one computer producing monochrome forms or reports, the supplied arrangement may be enough. Check your actual driver, application and printer language first. If sharing from several computers is essential, verify the real network accessory or compare a configuration with its own included network interface.
Two supplied inputs provide different conveniences
The main cassette holds up to 250 ordinary sheets, while the front multipurpose input holds 50. Together that is 300 supplied ordinary-paper sheets. The additional 250-sheet cassette is optional; a maximum-capacity photograph does not establish that it is part of an offer.
Letter, Legal and A4 are documented for the ordinary inputs. Match the guides, source, size and type settings to the stock. Keeping a second material in the front feed can reduce changes to the main cassette, but does not remove the need to select the correct source in software.
The front input folds away when unused and needs its extension for longer materials. Leave room to open it without obstruction. An installation that fits the closed printer can still be uncomfortable when a front tray blocks a walkway or the rear output has nowhere to open.
The envelope limit differs from the ordinary-paper limit
The media table allows a small suitable-envelope stack in the multipurpose input, rather than its full ordinary-paper capacity. The envelope procedure opens the rear output. Follow the actual loading illustration and matching application settings when preparing a mailing job.
For an individual special sheet, the manual-feed mode uses the same multipurpose area with an attended button routine. That can help when you want to check each result, but it changes the amount of participation required. Do not assume every front-feed job is an unattended batch.
Use laser-compatible materials and try a small sample first. Labels, transparency films, envelopes and ordinary sheets have different handling constraints. A supported size alone is insufficient when the material’s adhesive, coating or construction is unsuitable.
Optional PostScript is a real software distinction
The ML-2250 documents PCL6 and older emulations, with PostScript3 available as an option. The separate ML-2251NP configuration has different installed-language packaging. If a workflow requires PostScript, verify the actual module rather than using the family name as evidence.
Memory expansion is optional too. The maximum figure describes the result of an upgrade, not what every base machine contains. Document watermarks and stored formatting settings also should not be described as confidential PIN-release printing.
For forms with repeated headings, overlays can reduce preparation in a compatible application, but verify the final layout with the real stock. Keep a sample showing the correct margins and source. That makes a recurring job easier to reproduce after a driver setting changes or someone uses the printer for another material.
Choose for the document routine you can verify
Samsung declares up to 22 Letter pages per minute and a lower A4 rate. Its monthly duty ceiling is a maximum specification rather than a recommended recurring workload. No independent timing, reliability result or current cartridge cost is implied by those historical figures.
The printer cannot scan, copy or fax originals. Automatic duplex is not established by the checked operating material, so the finder does not use it to satisfy unattended automatic two-sided work. Confirm the actual electrical label, consumable condition and supported software, then test representative documents. Choose this model for direct monochrome printing when its two supplied sources fit your work.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Declared 22 Letter / 20 A4 ppm; 30,000-page maximum monthly duty is not recommended recurring volume.
Paper handling
250-sheet main tray plus 50-sheet multipurpose input, 300 ordinary sheets for Letter, Legal or A4. Additional 250 cassette optional. Multipurpose input takes up to five suitable envelopes with rear output, rather than 50 envelopes. Automatic duplex unestablished.
Scanning arrangement
Print-only equipment, without a scanner, copying glass, document feeder or fax.
Computer and mobile connections
ML-2250 includes USB and parallel. Ethernet and wireless network cards optional, excluded from standard configuration; do not borrow the N or W model’s installed interfaces.
Supplies and declared yields
Original 5,000-page replacement cartridge specification is not remaining toner, a live offer or a measured running cost.
Software and support
PCL6 and older emulations included; PostScript3 optional for these two models, unlike the distinct ML-2251NP. Standard 16 MB memory, maximum 144 MB after optional expansion. No installed PIN-release routine established.
Electrical edition and setup
Original US/Canada regional guide supports these exact raw XAA model leads. Offered electrical plate remains unchecked across regional editions. Body 358 × 452 × 278 mm / 14.1 × 17.8 × 10.9 in; 10.2 kg including consumables (~22.49 lb), operating access additional.
