Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can a USB computer arrangement duplex Legal color output and scan both sides of Legal originals?
Yes with compatible MFP software, suitable paper and original settings. The 50-sheet feeder reverses originals for automatic duplex capture. Print duplex is a separate supported function, and base ordinary-paper input is 300 sheets. Fax additionally needs its telephone connection.
Explore this need in the finder →Can a Wi-Fi computer arrangement receive color feeder scans and release protected jobs at the panel?
Yes after installing compatible software, enabling scan activation and registering the destination. Configure RAM Disk and send a compatible confidential job with its password before using the secured-print area. These conditions are separate from Wi-Fi setup.
Explore this need in the finder →Does this feeder satisfy a requirement for single-pass two-sided scanning?
No. The exact US specification identifies a reversing feeder. It captures both sides automatically by reversing the original, rather than reading both faces in one pass.

The Samsung ProXpress C2670FW/XAA combines color laser printing, copying, scanning and analog fax with USB, Gigabit Ethernet and built-in Wi-Fi. Its automatic print duplex and reversing document feeder make it more capable with two-sided office documents than a printer that merely has a flatbed scanner.
The exact configuration matters. The related C2620DW shares several specifications and supplies, but is a printer rather than this multifunction machine. The C2670FW adds the scanner and feeder hardware; do not use a neighboring model's missing copy specification as evidence about this one.
Two-sided originals travel through a reversing feeder
The US specification identifies a 50-sheet RADF, meaning a reversing automatic document feeder. It can capture both sides automatically, but must turn the sheet to do so. It is unsuitable when a workflow specifically requires single-pass capture.
The stated original range reaches 8.5 by 14 inches, accommodating suitable Legal originals as well as Letter and A4 within the scanning margins. Remove staples and clips, align the stack and load it face up. Check the original-side and binding settings independently from the output-side setting when making duplex copies.
The glass provides a separate route for individual originals placed face down. Its full dimensions are not established in the reviewed original sections. Confirm the required capture area before relying on it for a particular document size; the feeder's Legal capability does not give the glass that length.
Register scan destinations after installing the MFP software
The original guide documents both local USB scanning and a Network PC destination. Compatible scanner software needs to be installed as well as the print driver. Enable scan activation in Easy Printer Manager, register the receiving computer and enter its configured password when requested.
The guide supports TWAIN over local and network connections, while its WIA procedure requires direct USB. These are distinct arrangements. A working network print queue alone does not establish that the scanner program is active or that its receiving folder is correctly configured.
Wi-Fi can use a supported access-point arrangement or the documented Wi-Fi Direct configuration. The guide specifically excludes ad-hoc mode for C2670. NFC mobile use additionally depends on compatible device hardware, software and the required wireless settings. An NFC label should not be treated as a universal present-day mobile workflow.
Protected jobs require configuration and a compatible driver
The original protected-print procedure enables RAM Disk through SyncThru Web Service. A compatible driver sends the confidential document with its password; the user then selects the job in the touchscreen's secured-print area and supplies that password for release.
This differs from an administrator login or a confidentiality watermark. The brochure lists flash storage beneath a general Hard Drive heading, which does not establish a mechanical hard disk. The guide also warns that complex RAM Disk jobs can require optional memory.
AirPrint is separately documented for a compatible local network with Bonjour/mDNS and IPP enabled. Its printing arrangement does not inherit desktop scanning or confidential-job controls. Check compatibility for the actual mobile device and software before depending on an older application or service logo.
Budget space and paper around the standard machine
The base input consists of a 250-sheet cassette and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. Suitable Letter, Legal and A4 ordinary paper can use this 300-sheet arrangement. The additional 520-sheet drawer is optional. Match paper size and type in the printer and driver; envelopes and heavy stock have separate loading limits.
The declared 27 one-sided Letter pages per minute applies to black and color output. It is not a duplex scan rate, and the 60,000-page duty ceiling is not a recommended monthly workload. Initial toner declarations are 2,000 black pages and 1,500 per color; replacement yields differ, and the waste container is separate.
The roughly 58.69-pound body also needs room for scanner access, extended media and maintenance. Verify the actual electrical label and compatible software. Ordinary fax needs a separate supported telephone line, even when printing and scanning use the network.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
The US original declares up to 27 one-sided Letter pages/min in black and color. This does not establish duplex images/min or real job completion time. The 60,000-page monthly duty ceiling is separate from a recommended monthly workload, which is unestablished here. These are manufacturer declarations, not measurements by this site.
Paper handling
The standard arrangement is a 250-sheet cassette and 50-sheet multipurpose tray. The original ordinary-paper table supports Letter, Legal and A4 at 80 gsm in both, for 300 sheets. The 520-sheet CLP-S680A drawer is optional; 820 sheets is an expanded arrangement. Automatic duplex separately lists Letter, Legal and A4 among its supported sizes. Choose appropriate ordinary paper rather than assuming all special media can duplex. Envelopes use 75–90 gsm stock, their own smaller capacities, and the loading conditions in the guide; special media may need one sheet at a time.
Scanning arrangement
The exact multifunction column identifies a 50-sheet RADF, a reversing automatic document feeder. Automatic two-sided capture is supported and is not single-pass. Its original range is 5.6 x 5.8 to 8.5 x 14 inches at 16–28 lb, encompassing suitable Letter, Legal and A4 originals within capture margins. Feeder originals face up, glass originals face down. The reviewed original sections establish a physical glass route but do not give its complete dimensions, so its size list remains unspecified rather than borrowing Legal length from the feeder.
Computer and mobile connections
USB, Gigabit Ethernet and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi are included. The original C2670 guide explicitly rules out ad-hoc operation for that model; use a supported infrastructure or Wi-Fi Direct arrangement. Compatible Windows scanning is documented through USB and the network. Enable scanning in Easy Printer Manager, register the computer destination and supply its configured four-digit password when required. TWAIN can operate locally or over the network, while the described WIA routine requires direct USB.
Supplies and declared yields
The US shared consumable table gives initial yields of 2,000 black pages and 1,500 pages for each color. CLT-K505L replacement black is 6,000 pages; C505L/M505L/Y505L are 3,500 pages each, under ISO/IEC 19798. CLT-W506 is a separate waste-toner container. Check exact regional markings and actual consumable condition; a declared replacement yield is not the toner remaining in an earlier unit.
Software and support
The original guide describes protected jobs using RAM Disk: enable it in SyncThru Web Service, send a compatible confidential driver job with its password, then release it at Document Box > System Boxes > Secured Print. The US brochure specifies 4 GB flash; its Hard Drive heading is not proof of a mechanical HDD. Large complex jobs may need optional memory. AirPrint uses a compatible local network with Bonjour/mDNS and IPP enabled. That mobile plan does not inherit computer scanning or PIN controls. Mopria is not established by the reviewed exact sources.
Electrical edition and setup
The US original gives an approximately 18.46 x 17.81 x 19.85-inch body and 58.69 lb; the guide identifies 26.62 kg with consumables. Leave clearance for the raised scanner, media and service access. The original power table distinguishes 110–127 V and 220–240 V editions but sends frequency and current checks to the actual label, so US mains compatibility is not asserted. Analog fax requires a separate compatible telephone LINE connection and is not supplied merely by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
