P2502WIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

A modest print-only document routine valuing a small body and documented Wi-Fi/mobile setup, with manual intervention for two-sided output.

The main tradeoff

No automatic duplex, Ethernet, scanner, copy or fax. Non-Plus and Plus versions have separate instructions; native AirPrint requires its exact package condition.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can the documented ordinary Wi-Fi setup provide Mopria printing for Letter documents?

Yes, with the original guide’s compatible Android/wireless-printer arrangement. AirPrint has a separate package condition.

Does the manual reload routine satisfy automatic duplex printing?

No. The exact model identifies manual duplex and the guide describes user reloading.

A small print-only model, with manual two-sided output

The Pantum P2502W is a compact monochrome printer with USB and Wi-Fi. Its useful role is straightforward document output where a small printer body and wireless placement matter more than automatic duplex or a scanner.

This is the named P2502W reference, not the separately documented Plus variant. The manufacturer's current directory assigns different original manuals to those names. A similar label is not a reason to import another version's interface, supplied package or operating behavior.

23ppm Letter output does not remove the reload step

The exact US specification declares 23 pages per minute on Letter and 22 on A4 for one-sided printing. Duplex mode is manual. The original procedure uses a compatible Windows driver, prints a first set of sides and asks the user to reload before printing the reverse sides.

That can be acceptable for occasional two-sided documents, but it does not satisfy an automatic-duplex requirement. The declared engine rate is not a two-sided rate or a complete application-job measurement. Thick stock, transparencies and other unsuitable media have separate restrictions in the operating instructions.

Use the P2500 paper path, not the neighboring P2600 path

The standard automatic paper tray holds 150 ordinary sheets under the documented stock condition, with 100 sheets of output capacity. Letter, Legal and A4 are named in the original paper table. The input tray is for paper to be printed, not originals to be scanned.

For this P2500-family arrangement, special media such as an instructed envelope is loaded one piece at a time through the automatic tray. The same guide describes a separate manual feed for P2600 models; that different path should not be assigned to the P2502W. Match the paper type, size, loading direction and acceptable envelope construction.

Wi-Fi and mobile protocols still need the right setup

The exact W reference includes Wi-Fi and describes direct wireless printing alongside USB computer printing. It does not establish an Ethernet interface. The linked original manual documents Mopria for a compatible Android device and wireless-capable printer on the appropriate network.

AirPrint has a different condition in that guide: the package must identify a model supporting it. We therefore do not turn a generic wireless or mobile-app label into a guaranteed native Apple-printing feature. If AirPrint is essential, select a model with that exact supported configuration, such as the separately documented P3012DW.

Keep the recommendation separate from maximum monthly volume

The exact product reference gives a 2,000-page recommended monthly volume and a separate 15,000-page maximum. Our sustained-workload comparison uses the recommendation. The larger maximum should not make it appear confirmed for regular 5,000-page months.

The US body reference is 13.27×8.66×7.01 inches and 10.47lb. Leave additional paper, cable and service access. The original guide separately gives an approximate weight excluding toner, so that figure should not be directly compared as though it used the same inclusion basis.

Choose a different function when the routine requires it

The P2502W is a dedicated printer: it has no scanner, copy function, fax or original feeder. A shared app or driver-family listing cannot supply those missing components. The exact US reference identifies GDI printing, so check current driver and application compatibility for the actual computer.

Country-dependent consumable codes and a declared cartridge yield do not establish remaining toner, a starter package or current page cost in a specific offer. For automatic two-sided printing, compare the P3012DW. For individual-original color scanning while retaining a modest document role, the M6500NW changes the task combination rather than simply adding another printer suffix.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

Exact US declaration 23 ppm Letter/22 ppm A4. Print duplex is manual and requires reload; no automatic duplex or measured job time is claimed.

Paper handling

Included input is 150 ordinary sheets, with a separate 100-sheet output limit. P2500 special media use the automatic tray one piece at a time; do not substitute the P2600 manual-feed path.

Scanning arrangement

Dedicated print-only monochrome model, without scanner, copy, fax or ADF hardware.

Computer and mobile connections

Computer USB and ordinary Wi-Fi are included, with documented peer wireless printing. The actual Mopria chapter supports compatible Android printing; AirPrint depends on the exact package marking.

Supplies and declared yields

The exact US page identifies country-dependent supplies and a declared PB-211 yield. No Plus-variant starter yield, current price or remaining-toner claim is borrowed.

Software and support

The exact US model lists GDI. Use a compatible current driver; the Windows duplex procedure requires user reloading rather than an automatic mechanism.

Electrical edition and setup

US body reference: 13.27 × 8.66 × 7.01 inches, 10.47 lb with inclusion basis unstated. The guide’s cartridge-excluded mass is a different basis. Use the documented 110–127 V edition and allow operating clearance.
