Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the documented earlier M29DW USB arrangement support color Legal feeder scans and automatic Legal printing duplex?
Yes, in those separately documented routines. Exact model table and original paper/scanner instructions establish the combination.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the M29DW column include the fax shown for other family variants?
No. The actual M29DW column has no fax, while the fax-family columns are separately marked.
Explore this need in the finder →Can automatic print duplex or ADF presence establish single-pass scanning?
No. That acquisition mechanism is not established for this exact model by those separate features.
Explore this need in the finder →A documented M29DW configuration, with the exact model kept separate
The Pantum M29DW appears by name in the manufacturer's original operating-guide model table. Its documented configuration combines monochrome printing, copying and scanning with an automatic document feeder, automatic two-sided printing and USB/Ethernet/Wi-Fi connections.
This assessment covers that named model and the guide's documented US electrical operating edition. It is an earlier-model reference rather than a promise about a currently available offer. The actual unit, compatible current driver and supplied toner/drum package still need to match before purchase.
35ppm is the Letter printing condition
The original model column declares 35 pages per minute on Letter and 33 on A4. It separately confirms automatic two-sided printing. The detailed print procedure names plain Letter, Legal and A4 among supported duplex sizes and describes setting the duplex-unit paper slide.
Those one-sided engine declarations do not establish a two-sided rate, a scanner acquisition rate or the time for a complete application job. When comparing another named model, retain the paper size and routine instead of importing whichever larger headline happens to appear elsewhere in the family.
The feeder and glass solve different original-handling jobs
The model table positively includes a document feeder. The scanner specification gives a 216×297mm color glass route and a 216×356mm feeder route. Letter/A4 originals can use the glass; Legal loose sheets have the documented longer feeder path.
That does not make the glass Legal-size, nor establish a feeder that acquires both original sides automatically. A generic ADF entry is sufficient to identify a feeder, but not to certify its exact stack capacity or a reversing/single-pass mechanism. The finder therefore keeps those more demanding original-handling requirements separate.
Prepare the destination for computer scanning
The original panel Scan to PC procedure explicitly uses a USB computer connection. It separately documents network FTP scanning, with the destination service and address details configured. Our Ethernet and ordinary Wi-Fi computer-scanning arrangements retain that preparation.
A wireless interface therefore does not promise that a USB panel shortcut behaves identically over the network. Check the intended computer, compatible driver and destination service. The model table identifies PDL printing, but that alone is not a reason to promise every particular emulation or application behavior without the appropriate exact-model confirmation.
250 sheets plus one manual sheet describe two paper paths
The original paper table specifies a 250-sheet ordinary-paper cassette and a one-sheet manual feed. A total of 251 refers to those separate paths, not an expanded cassette. The manual path takes priority when media is present there, with the instructed handling for an occasional envelope or other special medium.
Use the exact paper type, size and weight conditions rather than assuming every medium is appropriate for automatic duplex. Likewise, the paper-input cassette is different from the original feeder: its capacity cannot be used to invent an ADF stack limit.
Compare only the differences the sources actually establish
The guide places M29DW beside other named wireless multifunction variants, but that shared table does not prove that every regional cartridge, starter yield, assembled measurement or monthly recommendation is identical. Check the actual offered model and supply codes rather than treating another machine's package as a specification for this one.
For a more fully specified current manufacturer reference with a published monthly recommendation, compare the M7102DW. If telephone fax is essential, the M6800FDW provides that documented function. The M29DW model column does not include fax, and its automatic print duplex should not be stretched into automatic duplex scanning.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Original guide exact M29DW column declares 35 ppm Letter/33 ppm A4. Automatic print duplex is separately shown. No scanner or duplex-speed rate is borrowed from another exact model.
Paper handling
Original cassette/manual paper table establishes 250 ordinary sheets plus 1 manual sheet in separate paths. Plain Letter/Legal/A4 automatic duplex follows the instructed size-slide setup. Envelopes use the single-sheet manual path.
Scanning arrangement
Exact M29DW column positively includes ADF and copy/scan without fax. Scanner table gives color glass216 × 297 mm and ADF216 × 356 mm. No exact ADF capacity, automatic scan-duplex or single-pass mechanism is inferred.
Computer and mobile connections
Original exact M29DW column positively establishes USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Shared conditional mobile protocol instructions do not independently confirm a native AirPrint/Mopria configuration, so those requirements are not assigned.
Supplies and declared yields
Confirm the toner, drum and supplied package for the actual M29DW. No M7102 starter yield, regional supply code, current price or remaining-life claim is borrowed.
Software and support
The model column says PDL without independently naming each supported emulation for exact M29DW. Check the current exact driver and application. Panel Scan to PC is USB-specific; reviewed network computer delivery uses separately configured FTP.
Electrical edition and setup
Assessment covers the original guides documented 100–127 V, 50/60 Hz, 9 A operating edition, with a separate 220–240 V edition and USA-only M29-series declaration. Exact assembled-body measurements and monthly recommendation are not established for this model.
