Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can compatible USB use color Legal feeder scans together with printing, copying and the documented fax hardware?
Yes, through the documented USB scanning arrangement, with a separate compatible telephone setup for fax. Legal originals use the feeder, not the glass.
Explore this need in the finder →Does ID-card double-side copying establish automatic print duplex?
No. The exact model specifies manual print duplex; arranging card faces is a different operation.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the Legal feeder make a full Legal flatbed scan possible?
No. The confirmed glass is 216 × 297 mm; the Legal-size path belongs to the ADF.
Explore this need in the finder →Fax and a feeder distinguish this compact monochrome MFP
The Pantum M6602NW combines monochrome printing, copying, color scanning and fax with a standard 35-sheet document feeder. It is useful to consider when occasional multipage originals and a compatible telephone-fax routine matter more than automatic two-sided output.
The exact NW model includes USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. That makes it more flexible to place than a USB-only machine, but the connection still changes how the documented computer-scanning routine works. A shared list of functions should not be treated as proof that every function behaves identically through every cable or wireless mode.
A Legal original belongs in the feeder, not the smaller glass
The exact specification gives a 216×297mm flatbed and a 216×356mm feeder path. Letter and A4 originals fit the documented glass; Legal originals require the larger feeder route. That distinction matters for a buyer who wants to scan bound material, because a feeder accepting a long sheet does not enlarge the glass underneath.
The standard feeder holds 35 originals, which is separate from the printer's 150-sheet paper input. It can reduce repeated manual page placement for a stack of one-sided originals. The source does not establish an automatic two-sided feeder method, so a required duplex-scanning or single-pass routine is not matched by assumption.
Manual duplex requires an actual reload step
The maker identifies print duplex as manual. Printing both sides therefore depends on the compatible driver's reload procedure rather than an automatic duplex mechanism. The ID-card copying feature is another separate routine: arranging both faces of a card on an output sheet does not establish automatic two-sided printing.
The declared one-sided rate is 23 pages per minute on Letter and 22 on A4. These are manufacturer conditions, not our measured application results. A scan-speed headline or a memory figure does not change the output engine into a faster duplex printer.
USB panel scanning and network FTP are different workflows
The original family guide explicitly limits its panel Scan to PC procedure to a USB computer connection. For network delivery, it describes a separate scan-to-FTP arrangement with the computer/server service, credentials and destination configured. Our Ethernet and ordinary Wi-Fi plans use that stated network arrangement.
This avoids presenting the USB panel button as a universal network shortcut. Check the present-day computer and driver before purchase, and consider whether configuring the required network service is acceptable. Peer wireless printing is described separately on the exact product page; it does not by itself prove a peer-only computer-scanning route.
Use the 2,000-page recommendation for workload
The exact reference gives 2,000 pages as recommended monthly volume, alongside a separate 20,000-page maximum monthly figure. The larger number should not make it pass a sustained 10,000-page requirement. Our workload comparison uses the documented recommendation.
The input holds 150 sheets and the output holds 100 under the maker's stated conditions. The body reference is 16.4×12.0×11.8 inches and 18.7lb including cartridges. Leave room for loading, the feeder, the glass lid and the connections; those body measurements are not complete operating clearance.
Check the regional unit, supplies and telephone setup
The US reference separately lists a 100–127V electrical version and a 220–240V version. Match the offered unit to the intended installation. Consumable codes vary by country; the page's PB-211 declaration is not evidence of remaining toner, a particular starter cartridge or a current cost per page.
Fax is a documented function of this exact model, but it requires its own compatible telephone arrangement. It is not a promise that any modern IP or converted phone service will work. If fax is unnecessary, compare the M6500NW for an individual-original scanning routine. If automatic duplex printing is essential, the M6702DW is a different tradeoff with a flatbed-only scanner.

Paper, software and setup details
Print-rate conditions
Maker-declared 23 ppm Letter/22 ppm A4; manual print duplex is a separate reload routine. The scan-rate headline is not proof of a two-sided scanner.
Paper handling
150-sheet paper input and 100-sheet output are separate from the 35-sheet original feeder. Legal output is named, while Legal originals use the ADF rather than the smaller glass.
Scanning arrangement
Color scanning with 216 × 297 mm flatbed and 216 × 356 mm ADF. USB panel Scan to PC is explicitly documented; network FTP is a configured computer/server routine. No automatic duplex-feeder or single-pass method is established.
Computer and mobile connections
USB computer, Ethernet and Wi-Fi network are standard on exact NW. The page also describes peer wireless printing; peer-only computer scanning and native AirPrint/Mopria are not inferred from Pantum-app support.
Supplies and declared yields
Exact US page identifies consumables as country-dependent P*-210 and shows PB-211 at 1600 declared pages. Verify the exact unit and cartridge; no starter assumption, current price or remaining-yield claim.
Software and support
Use compatible current drivers. The original panel Scan to PC routine explicitly requires USB; network scanning here uses separately configured FTP rather than pretending the panel button works identically on every connection. Fax needs its separate compatible telephone setup.
Electrical edition and setup
Exact US reference lists 100–127 V, 50/60 Hz, 6 A and separate 220–240 V versions. Declared body 16.4 × 12.0 × 11.8 in and 18.7 lb includes cartridges; leave paper, feeder, lid and cable access.20000 duty is not the 2000-page monthly recommendation.
