M7202FDWIllustrated overview
A useful fit for

A document routine needing automatic two-sided output, color Legal feeder originals and fax in their separately supported computer/network and telephone setups.

The main tradeoff

Legal originals use the feeder rather than the smaller glass. Automatic duplex-scanning mechanics, exact body limits and monthly recommendation are not established for this reference.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can the supported USB routine combine35 ppm declared Letter output, automatic Legal print duplex, color Legal feeder scans and fax?

Yes, in the separately documented routines, with a compatible telephone arrangement for fax. The print rate and scan route have different conditions.

Explore this need in the finder →
Does the 50-sheet ADF establish automatic duplex acquisition?

No. The confirmed automatic duplex function is printing; the original-scanning mechanism is not established as reversing or single-pass.

Can an unpublished monthly recommendation satisfy a required3000-page workload?

No. This requirement needs a confirmed recommended monthly maximum for the exact reference, not a different models figure.

A four-function model for printed sets and loose originals

The Pantum M7202FDW combines monochrome printing, copying, color scanning and fax with automatic two-sided output and a standard 50-sheet document feeder. Its exact US reference includes USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi, with mobile printing and a removable-drive scanning option.

The useful combination is handling both output documents and loose originals in one office device. It still needs separate choices about paper size, original route, computer destination and telephone fax. A four-function label does not mean every function travels through the same connection.

35ppm Letter output comes from the correct series column

The manufacturer links the exact M7202FDW to its original operating guide. That guide's M7200FDW-series column declares 35 pages per minute on Letter and 33 on A4, consistent with the exact product page's A4 headline. The same column identifies automatic two-sided printing.

The detailed procedure supports plain Letter, Legal and A4 duplex with the correct paper-size slide setting. The one-sided rate is not a two-sided rate or a measured application completion time. Choosing a faster-looking number elsewhere in a mixed family table would not improve the actual documented routine.

The longer feeder path is useful for Legal originals

The scanner table separates a 216×297mm color glass route from a 216×356mm feeder route. Loose Legal originals can use the documented longer feeder, while individual Letter/A4 originals can use the glass. A Legal book opening or another original unsuitable for the feeder has a different size constraint.

The exact model reference establishes a 50-sheet ADF, but not a reversing or single-pass acquisition mechanism. Automatic print duplex is a different function. Our finder therefore does not make this model pass an automatic two-sided-scanning requirement merely because it can print both output sides automatically.

Computer, network and removable-drive scans are different destinations

The original panel Scan to PC routine explicitly uses USB. The network scan-to-FTP procedure instead requires a configured destination service and address details. Our USB and ordinary Ethernet/Wi-Fi computer-scanning plans retain those actual arrangements.

The separately advertised scan-to-USB-disk function can be useful for taking files away without a computer, but a removable-drive socket is different from the USB computer connection. Likewise, AirPrint and Mopria printing belong to their compatible network arrangement; NFC pairing or peer printing is not proof of every computer-scanning route.

The paper input is split between a cassette and manual feed

The linked guide specifies a 250-sheet ordinary-paper cassette and a one-sheet manual path. The combined total of 251 describes separate paths rather than a larger cassette. A person feeding an envelope or another instructed special medium uses the manual path and matching paper settings.

Ordinary automatic duplex has its own paper conditions. The ability to print a special medium through a single-sheet path does not establish that it should be used for unattended two-sided output. Leave appropriate original-loading, paper and service access when planning the actual installation.

Check the offered configuration and the reason to choose it

The exact reference separately describes 1,500-page starter toner and a 12,000-page starter drum. Confirm the regional supply codes and actual included or remaining consumables in an offer. These declarations do not establish current ownership cost, and an unrelated model's recommended monthly volume should not become a workload promise for this one.

Fax uses a separately compatible telephone arrangement; it is not wireless telephone fax simply because Wi-Fi printing is available. If fax is unnecessary, compare the M7102DW for its documented task combination and published monthly recommendation. For another included-fax reference with a different declared Letter rate, the M6800FDW provides a concrete comparison without assuming the suffix alone predicts quality or price.

Paper, software and setup details

Print-rate conditions

Original M7200FDW-series table declares 35 ppm Letter/33 ppm A4, with exact M7202FDW manufacturer directory mapping to that guide. Automatic duplex is separate; no measured or duplex-rate figure is inferred.

Paper handling

Included 250-sheet ordinary-paper cassette plus 1-sheet manual feed at the documented stock condition: 251 total across different paths, not a 251-sheet cassette. Envelopes use the instructed single-sheet manual path.

Scanning arrangement

Exact50-sheet ADF supports 216 × 356 mm originals; glass216 × 297 mm. Color scanning is documented. Automatic duplex/single-pass feeder methods are not established from automatic print duplex or Manual Duplex Copy wording.

Computer and mobile connections

Exact DW has standard USB, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Same-network AirPrint/Mopria are documented; NFC Android pairing and direct printing do not establish a peer-only computer-scanning route.

Supplies and declared yields

Exact US product marketing declares 1500-page starter toner and 12000-page starter drum. Confirm actual regional toner/drum and supplied package; no M6800 starter 1000/9000, current price or remaining yield is borrowed.

Software and support

Exact US reference includes fax and mobile protocols. USB panel Scan to PC, configured network FTP and USB-disk scans are distinct destinations. The original model table identifies PDL; no exact emulation or current OS guarantee is added from a sibling.

Electrical edition and setup

Exact US model reference and its manufacturer-linked original guide document a 100–127 V, 50/60 Hz, 9 A operating edition, separately from 220–240 V. Exact assembled body values and monthly recommendation are not established here; inspect the actual package and allow original/paper/service access.
